Wellbeing Support Group CBT Skills Session After the success of our initial wellbeing group in February, we will be hosting a CBT skills workshop in May hosted by Solent Mind at the Wellbeing Centre in central Eastleigh. Introducing the new Carers Development Worker... Naomi Stock!

We are pleased to announce that Naomi Stock is going to be seconded from her post in the Voluntary Sector Support Team based at Eastleigh Museum to our Family Carers Service.

Naomi’s role with us will be to develop the project to cater to your needs and individualise the service as well as build partnerships and put on day trips. I am sure you will all join us in welcoming her on board. She starts on March 27th.

This session, delivered by The British Red Cross, is for carers and volunteers who support adults over 65 who are more at risk of slips, trips and falls. This tailored, interactive session will provide you with the skills and confidence to help in a first aid emergency, focusing on the skills that would be the most useful to your situation, e.g. bleeding, seizure, heart attack, stroke.

The course offers effective, easy to learn first aid education in a relaxed and informal style. COMPUTER CAFE One Community in partnership with Chandlers Ford Library host a weekly Computer cafe. The Computer Cafe gives Carers an opportunity to learn new skills, meet others and explore the online world with the help of our fantastic volunteers.

The sessions are open to every skill level whether you shop online regularly and/or if you think an apple is something you simply eat rather than use!
