Handyperson Volunteers Age Concern Eastleigh offers a low level handyman service to the local area. The service is run entirely by volunteers, which enables Age Concern to offer the service at greatly reduced rates. Age Concern is looking for additional volunteers to help them with the service. If you have a couple of hours a week/month free and can help local residents with low level DIY jobs then we’d love to hear from you.

Volunteer Centre Drop-Ins

Can You Make a Cuppa? New Music Makers choir in Hedge End is looking for someone to make drinks for them in their break on a Thursday night. They rehearse in the Methodist Church Hall, St Johns Road and help is needed from 8.15pm-9.30pm or if you wish, stay all night, 7.30pm-10pm and enjoy a free concert!

 

Befriending Volunteers – Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust Befriending volunteers are needed in the communities served by Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. This is social action volunteering for 2 hours a week with patients in their own homes. It could involve chatting, playing board games, crosswords etc. The role is offered between 9am and 5pm Monday – Friday. Volunteers should be over 18, chatty,
