eptember 25th CNX Gentlemans Riders gathered together at Goodview Bar & Restaurant Chiangmai to head out to a small resort near Samuang. Nearly 150 riders in gentleman suits brought their beloved classic vintage motorcycles to the trip. The Gentlemans Ride event is a worldwide event to raise funds and awareness for men’s health. The riders then rode back to the city in the evening to attend a small evening party at Tha Chang, which was joined by
fashion designers and shops to showcase their latest collections. Among them was an uprising new local Chiang Mai brand “SIAMARAK” which produces contemporary Thai silver accessories inspired by the designer’s love for Siam and Thai art. One of Siamarak’s product received the highest charity auction price of 15,500 Baht. The charity party ended on a high note with a mini concert from Tu Nopporn who also joined the Gentlemans Ride trip, making it one of the best Gentlemans Ride events for everyone involved.

With the objective to support OTOP and SME entrepreneurs as much as possible, the event was set to promote local products and leverage their quality so to be able to proudly sell to the international sector. Also, all the entrepreneurs were able to meet with buyers from around the world directly, earning them more opportunities to their businesses. There were so many activities in the event, such as a display of top fabrics in Chiang Mai and other northern provinces cultural market, Mini Motor Show, singing contest, workshops as well as concert from various famous singers. Plus, Fashion Show and eating contest were also there to entertain the attendants, making the event lively and fun. Moreover, Chiang Mai’s authorities are trying to provide more channels to the entrepreneurs including displaying on domestic and international flights and of course another interesting event like this will be arranged again.

Directions 1. Chop off the top of the coconut, drain the juice and scarpe the meat into a container. 2. Mix the gelatin into the coconut juice in a pot and let it sits for 10 minutes before heating the juice and add the sugar and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Ingredients: - 200 g of chicken meat - 1 tbsp of cooking oil - ½ tsp sugar - 5 cloves of garlic - 1 tspn oyster sauce - A plash of dark soy sauce - 4 Thai chilies - ½ tspn light soy sauce - A handful of Thai basil - Steamed jasmine rice - 2 Crispy Sunny side-up Eggs

Directions 1. Cut the chicken into small bite sized pieces. Peel the garlic and chilies, and mince them with a knife. 2. Heat your wok on high heat, add the chilies and garlic. Stir fry until they get fragrantly then add the chicken. Keep stir frying continuously. At this stage you want to continue to stir and cook your chicken until it’s just about fully cooked all the way through.
3. Add oyster sauce, light soy sauce, sugar, and dark soy sauce. Keep stir frying for about another 30 seconds, and grab a handful of holy basil, toss it into the pan, fold it into the chicken, and then immediately turn off the heat. The holy basil really only needs to cook for about 5 seconds. 4. Serve on top of rice with a sunny side-up egg
