YOU WILL NEED:
Spread out the plastic tablecloth and get those little hands involved to create your own signature wrapping paper for this year’s celebrations. Kids might want to choose some bright colour combinations, or you can add glitz with Resene FX metallics.

Get messy and paint your own gorgeous DIY Christmas wrapping paper with Resene testpots.

STAR STAMP YOU WILL NEED: 8 x rubber bands
Plain white paper
Testpot brush
Sponges
2 x Resene testpots to use as stamps
Resene testpots in your choice of colours; we used Resene Fast Forward, Resene Artemis, Resene Liberty, Resene Ethereal and Resene Moonlight.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Make the stencil by drawing random terrazzo shapes onto a piece of card. Once you’re happy with the pattern, cut out the shapes with a craft knife. Of course, you can use any pattern you like; your household might prefer dinosaurs to terrazzo.
Step 2
Place stencil on the first section of paper. Dab paint on with the sponges. Move stencil along for next section. (To create a more random pattern over the paper turn the stencil to mirror image the first application beside it).

INSTRUCTIONS: Attach rubber bands over the Resene testpots to create star patterns.
Step 2
Paint over the rubber bands evenly using the testpot brush.
Step 3
Press the stamp evenly on the craft paper. The paint will last for about three stamps. You can repeat with another colour if you want. Then wrap up all your special surprises and display them under the tree!
