In a consumer’s world where options are endless, we appreciate the care required to curate a wardrobe that is equal parts stylish, appropriate, comfortable and true to you.

In case you can’t already tell, we’re a little obsessed with fashion and we know some of you are, too. In an effort to bring stylish beach-goers together, we’re sharing real fashion in real time. We post outfits that work for a trip to the beach, a night out or a day at the office (for those of us who are not yet retired beach bums). DON’T BE AFRAID TO MIX STRIPES, FLORALS AND MORE. HERE’S HOW: START WITH A PRINTED MAXI 1. Add a similar pattern like two stripe prints in different colors or widths. We love this red and pink stripe scarf with classic navy lines.

2. Add a different print in similar shades. The eclectic zig zags and undone stripes of these two prints blend together nicely since the color scheme keeps them from competing.

“NUITS DE NOHO” FROM BOND NO. 9 is my favorite fragrance for summer. It’s sexy, sultry, and the perfect cherry on top to a hot summer night out.

I am obsessed with the “GLAMAZON PURE PERFORMANCE 12 HOUR LIPSTICK” BY TARTE COSMETICS. I own them in pretty much every bright shade. My faves are “Foxy” & “Bold” (hot pink and coral) - you can sweep on a rich color and that’s pretty much all you need for a glam summer look.

Plus, they SERIOUSLY last 12 hours.

LAFCO’S “BEACH HOUSE” CANDLE is my favorite scent to have burning through the house during summer. It’s totally “30A” in candle form. The sea, the dunes, and the great memories!

I live and die by dry shampoo because I HATE washing my hair, and the KMS HAIR PLAY “MAKEOVER SPRAY” is one of my faves. It gives your hair the clean, texturized look of a dry shampoo, but also has a little waxiness to it, which saves my super-dry ends. Not sure how it does it, but it works great for my hair!

KEVIN MURPHY “HYDRATE ME” WASH & rinse is the best shampoo for dry, colored locks – especially in the summer when they take a beating from the sun, chlorine, and ocean. This shampoo makes my color last, and the rinse zaps my hair with the moisture it needs.

This ALGENIST REGENERATIVE ANTIAGING MOISTURIZER is my go-to during the summer months! It has absolutely changed the tone and texture of my skin. It’s expensive, but lasts a long time and works miracles!

These two sisters are as sweet and down-to-earth as they seem from their blog, apieceoftoastblog.com, making us immediately want to be an honorary member of the family. While meeting for early-morning coffee at Amavida in Rosemary Beach, we chatted about favorite 30A restaurants, current objects of obsession (hello, blue aviators!), why it’s important to get to Charlie’s Donut Truck at the crack of dawn and how a summer just isn’t complete without a trip to the beach, even (and especially) with 30 members of family in tow. Even before 8 am, these girls were cute and stylish as can be!

Summer Essentials? First and foremost is a great pair of sunglasses. This summer we can’t get enough of mirrored sunnies and these RAY BANS take the cake. Although we love our jewelry, it gets pretty minimal at the beach. This year we piled on the GOLD AND GRAY…her pieces have the most perfect beachy vibe.

Clothing wise we try to stick with easy and breezy pieces like pretty dresses and shorts. Pair those with a great pair of flat sandals and you are set. Most importantly, the less fussy the better while at the beach!

For shopping, we have grown up loving PERSPICASITY. The easiness of their pieces is something that we strive for in our every day dressing and we always seem to leave there with something amazing that can be worn time and time again.

Number one favorite place on 30-A to eat is hands down THE RED BAR. We have been going here since we were little and look forward to eating their famous crab cakes each time we visit the area. It is a must-go restaurant for us! Other favorites are BUD & ALLEY’S, GEORGE’S AND CAFÉ 30A. You can’t go wrong at any of those places and are guaranteed a good meal.

We love walking through the pretty PAVILIONS IN ALYS BEACH. It seems like each time we walk through there are more pretty details that we didn’t notice before.

HALF UP THREE-STRAND BRAID This is an easy, casual style that goes well with laid-back summer maxis. First, take any shorter pieces that may fall into your face and pin back with 2-3 bobby pins. Take the rest of your hair and braid it loosely to one side. This keeps hair off your back and helps you stay cool in the summer heat.

UP IN FRONT This is from one of our family outings to Seaside. I pulled my hair up around the crown, leaving everything underneath and around my ears down. This is a simple style that keeps hair out of your face and safe from the beach breeze.

PONY TAIL PULL-THROUGH* Start by putting hair in a low pony tail.

Take a small elastic and put about 3 inches down from the first elastic. Separate the area between the elastics into two sections and pull the length of the pony tail through. Pull hair tighter to tighten that section. Continue down your pony tail, repeating almost to the end.

Stay Fit This Summer!

We all want to look our best during the summer, especially when you will be strutting your stuff down the beach in a bikini! At the beach, we like to shake things up a bit and try new and exciting ways to exercise. From bike riding and kayaking to surfing and stand-up board paddling, there are several ways you can get your heart rate going while having a blast.

One of the popular places to get your sweat on right now is PURE BARRE. For the less-than-outdoorsy type, Pure Barre offers the ease of a traditional workout environment. Don’t be fooled, though, this complete body exercise is far from conventional!

Using the ballet barre to perform isometric movements, the workout launches a full blown attack on the areas of the body all women struggle with: abs, hips, seat and arms, creating long and lean muscles without bulk.

STAND UP PADDLING OR SUP is all the rage these days, and for good reason. It’s an amazing cross-training sport that improves your balance, is low impact and strengthens your core. SUP YOGA takes the sport to a new level. The board serves as the perfect non-slip mat where you can explore all the different yoga postures while enjoying being outside, on the water, surrounded by a unique view of nature’s beauty.

Brazilian designer CLAUDIA LOBAO is as sweet, humble and funny as can be. Her intriguing combination of being both elegant and down to earth are exactly the qualitiies that have helped propel her fashion jewelry line to the top. After actress Eva Longoria wore her designs on Desperate Housewives, Claudia’s pieces have been spotted on the rich and famous as well as the ultrastylish. We love the rugged sparkle of the druzy necklaces and earrings (a stone whose inside looks somehing like a glitter explosion), but our favorites are the intricately woven gold crochet pieces.
