THE MUSIC CLASS FROM DAILY LIFE EDU CAT ION design
“ Sound Lab steps out the academic music education, by combining 3D printing with hardware from daily life, creating a media to connect daily life sounds to melody. experience could be free like general art classes as we can enjoy the freedom to explore potentials of sounds, maybe it could be a better way to ignite children’s imagination.
REDEFINE INSTRUMENTS Explore the possibilities of various sounds
In nowadys life, people has a limited imagination for sounds like EDM or classic music, they tend to pursue the dazing visual stimulations instead of music itself. Thus we hope to utilise daily objects to spark curiosity for music, a different music class to boost children’s imagination for sounds.
When we were children It’s always the same instrument And the same song we played on music class
Electronic instruments lack the direct interaction between the user and the instrument itself. For traditional musical instruments, you must learn through high thresholds and practice for a long time. How to directly interact with artifacts to ďŹ nd unique sounds, and easily achieve the three elements of rhythm, melody and timbre, so that the sound of artifacts has more possibilities.

Post-Manufacture Post-Manufacture:Urban Nature as Origin Ex h ib it ion d esi g n
"Post-manufacture" as a relation of production The creators of the new generation perceive urban as a neo-natural mine, goods as raw materials, taking materials from ready-made, observing, collecting, thinking and manufacturing. Creation is a response to the living ďŹ eld, developed as a new relation of production.
They call it "Post-manufacture"
Tai wan Contemp ora r y C- La b 2019 071 3 2019 072 1
"Post-manufacture" as a relation of production, is gradually sprouting in urban nature. Ready-made materials flowing and spreading in between.
Everyone is a creator, spontaneously perceiving the environment, participating in the act of creation, and evolving in this fluid relationship. "Post-manufacture: urban nature as origin" will be represented by three different aspects: speculative appropriation with reflection under observation; contemplating about the possibilities of remanufacturing between crafts and industrial materials; and further exploring the new look of daily commodities, in response to "Post-manufacture" in urban nature.
Facing the contemporary relationship between human, technology, and nature, "Post-manufacture" attempts to break the conventional model where objects are selected, consumed and eliminated, a response to the circle between a new production relation and energy, and present a fusion state between life and creation in urban nature.
