TGO Off-Season Projects for 2022
It’s that time of year where TGO residents return to their second homes or start traveling on their vacations. It is also the time when the CSA crew ramps up their annual list of projects. With more than half the park vacant, it is much easier to travel throughout the park and work on completing as many upgrades and improvements as possible. This year is no different from previous years as we have a long list of improvements we plan to complete before residents return in the fall. For an insight into what is planned for this summer, check out page 18.
Meet Our New Chef - Ace French After just a short conversation, you’ll quickly learn that Chef Ace knows his food. His impressive background in the culinary arts includes a national list of first class restaurants including one he started in Jacksonville, Florida, where he also appeared on NBC’s Good Morning Jacksonville program, to share his recipes. In his earlier years, Ace served as an apprentice with world-renowned chef Paul Prudhomme in New Orleans. He has a new menu arriving soon for the Blue Heron that includes some of his signature seafood dishes. Continued on page 16
SNAP-SHOT: Meet Jennifer Lopata TGO’s Jim Brubaker continues his series on our local photographers, this time focusing on Jennifer Lopata, a TGO resident who splits her time between her Eastern Pennsylvania home and her winter resort in Florida. Photography has become an important part of Jennifer’s life. It allows her to engage with the world around her, creating experiences and memories she can share with her family and friends. She enjoys spring when our bird and animal life starts another cycle, presenting a fresh opportunity to capture nature at its best. Continued on page 50
