Blue Heron Restaurant Staff Meet Chef, Ace French A veteran of over 30 years in the culinary arts, and originally from Atlantic Beach, Florida near Jacksonville. He is married to Karan, the manager of the Blue Heron, who is also a veteran of the restaurant business. Ace has been the Executive Chef at Cape Cod landmarks such as The Old Yarmouth Inn and Patio American Grill in Provincetown, and recently Gannon’s Tavern. His resumé also includes owning and operating Two Dudes Eatery and Market in Atlantic Beach and corporate settings such as Compass Group and Marriott Hotel. Ace is a graduate of both Johnson and Wales University and Cordon Bleu and holds degrees from both universities. Ace brings a fresh vision to The Blue Heron that features a fusion of New England styles and southern flair that creates vibrant and exciting dishes sure to WOW our customers. There will be new menus available in the next issue of The Happenings. Plans include a Pasta Bar for the pasta lovers every Tuesday night. Prime Rib will be back every Saturday night and there will be a Flat Bread special each week. In addition, Weekend Specials will return from Thursdays through Sundays.

Extremely passionate about food, Ace brings that excitement, pride and attention to detail to every dish he creates. He is fond of telling his staff, “Every dish that comes from the kitchen, whoever prepared it, should be willing to deliver it to the guest and proudly say, ‘I made this for you.’”

Deanne Fricano “Dee” is the Assistant Manager at the Blue Heron. She has worked there the longest in the front of the house. She always has a smile on her face and is friendly to everyone. In her off time, she likes to spend time with her pets and explore photography.

Maureen Davis

Maureen was TGO’s spring Employee of the Quarter. Better known as “Mo,” she is one of our great bartenders. She has EMT experience which has made her a valuable asset here at TGO. In her off time, Mo enjoys spending time taking rides in her golf cart with her dog.

Beth Garrison

Beth is a veteran server and this past year learned how to bartend. She is super friendly to all our guests and to her coworkers. Beth doesn’t have a lot of free time as she also owns a landscaping business! Beth is obviously a super hard worker.
