sixteenth sunday in ordinary tiMe (Year B) 18/19 JULY 2015 Entrance Antiphon See, I have God for my help. The Lord sustains my soul. I will sacrifice to you with willing heart, and praise your name, O Lord, for it is good. Some Passionist news Fr Luke Magee, who was for many years Rector at Minsteracres, is celebrating his diamond Jubilee of ordination on 22 July. Sadly Fr Luke’s health is not good but Fr Malachy, who is his last remaining classmate, is going up north to celebrate with him. Our prayers and best wishes go with him. Please keep Fr Conleth O’Hara in your prayers – he was a member of the parish team in Herne Bay for a number of years but is now very poorly and at present receiving hospice care. Prayer in the Parish This Sunday (19 July) we will have a time of informal prayer and worship in church at 6.00pm. All are welcome. Our morning hour of Adoration each weekday from 8.30am is going well – if you have the time, why not come in and pray for the life and work of the parish in peace.
