First sunday oF lent (Year C) 13/14 FEBRUARY 2016

Entrance Antiphon When he calls on me, I will answer him; I will deliver him and give him glory, I will grant him length of days. And so the Mission begins!!!!!!!!!! This weekend we welcome those members of the Sion Community who will be here for the first week of the Mission, the visiting week. They will be getting to as many houses in the parish as they can. At the 10am Mass each weekday one of the community will give a short sharing on what the faith means to them. There will be a cup of tea/coffee after each Mass and then the church will remain open, with the Blessed Sacrament exposed, during the times that the visiting will be taking place. Thank you to all those who have signed up to cover a particular time-slot this week‌ please feel free to come too if you haven’t signed up. The more the merrier!! During our Mission we will be supported by the prayers of the parish of St Peter in Winchester who will be having a Sion Mission later in the year. We are most grateful to them and to the Sion Community for arranging this. Towards the end of the year we in our turn will be asked to pray for Holy Ghost Parish in Yeovil, to support them in their mission. Updates on: http://www.ourladyhernebay.co.uk/parish-mission
