Entrance Antiphon Of you my heart has spoken, Seek his face. It is your face, O Lord, that I seek; hide not your face from me. Parish Mission This weekend we say farewell to the 6 Sion Community members/associates who have been carrying out the home visits. It has been a pleasure and a blessing to have them with us and they have certainly done a great deal of good; we wish them every blessing in their future work with Sion. As our six Visitors leave, other Sion members will arrive to conduct the second week of the Mission. They will be introduced at the weekend Masses and will be immediately busy with the Youth Event on Saturday evening (6pm Mass followed by a Fun and Pizza evening in the Hall), followed on Sunday afternoon by the Family Service (not Mass) in church at 3.30pm (NB the children are asked to be in church by 3pm to prepare for their part in the service.) The second week of the Mission will comprise services in church at 7pm Monday-Thursday, with a “Questions of Faith Panel over wine and cheese in the Hall on Friday, also at 7pm. The services will last one hour and will not include the celebration of Mass. Each morning there will be a sharing of faith at the end of the 10am Mass followed by tea/coffee (The faith sharings during the first week were tremendously inspiring and greatly appreciated.) The 11.05am Mass next Saturday morning will be especially for the sick and will include the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. After the 6pm Mass next Saturday there will be a bring and share meal in the Hall followed by dancing with a ceilidh band.
