Entrance Antiphon My eyes are always on the Lord, for he rescues my feet from the snare. Turn to me and have mercy on me, for I am alone and poor. Parish Mission As we say farewell to the Sion Community Mission team this weekend, it is time to say a number of heartfelt “thank-you’s”: To all the co-ordinators who worked so hard in preparation for the mission: for prayer, accommodation, artwork and church decoration, publicity and printing, the census and visiting lists, hospitality, youth involvement, music and a special word of thanks to our overall co-ordinator Christine Walker who has kept a very calm and effective hand on all the proceedings. Thanks to all the individuals who have made such a great contribution to our fortnight in all the above areas and others too. And to the Sion team who led the visitng in the first week and the team who led the events week in church this week: you have given the parish so very, very much and we are extremely grateful. I am sure the parishioners who came to the events this week were blessed and it was a joy to welcome visitors from the United Church, the Beacon Church and parishioners from Whitstable and Canterbury. There is an opportunity to share what you have gained from the mission using a printed sheet available from the parish office or online via our parish website (www.ourladyhernebay.co.uk/parish-mission). This will enable those unable to attend all the events to share in the mission’s fruits.
