It will take place at St Teresa’s, Ashford. This will be our 4th and final session on the Eucharist and it will also provide an opportunity for feedback from our parishes’ delegates to the Adoremus Congress. All are welcome. Lifts will be available. THE APOSTOLATE OF ADORATION: As a parish we already have several opportunities for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament each week and now there is something new in the air. Several of us went to a meeting early in the summer to hear about The Apostolate of Adoration which has already made great strides in Ireland. Basically it asks for members of the parish to commit one hour per week to praying before the Blessed Sacrament for the intentions of the parish and the wider world. Archbishop Peter is fully behind this initiative and several parishes in the diocese have already taken it on. It is fully lay-led and there are powerful testimonies from Ireland and elsewhere as to the fruits it brings. There will be a presentation about the subject at all Masses on the weekend of 20-21 October. Please keep this initiative in your prayers. THE SACRED HEART COMPANIONS IN PRAYER – Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 10th October at the Convent Chapel, 25 Western Esplanade. Fr. Malachy will say Mass at 7.00pm, please bring your prayer book. New members are welcome to join us.
