THIS SUNDAY: Stations of the Cross, Evening Prayer and Benediction: 4.00 p.m. THURSDAY ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: PLEASE NOTE WILL NOT TAKE PLACE ON MAUNDY THURSDAY..WE WILL RESUME ON THURSDAY 25TH HOLY WEEK: begins with Palm Sunday this weekend. Please note that the Palm Sunday Masses will all begin in the Hall from where we will process into church. No tea/coffee this Sunday. MONDAY: Confessions from 7.00 to 8.00 pm MAUNDY THURSDAY: Mass of the Lord’s Supper with Washing of Feet: 8.00pm. Watching till 11.00 pm GOOD FRIDAY: Walk of Witness begins here at 9.45 a.m. We walk to Wimereux Square for 10.30. Solemn Liturgy of the Passion: 3.00 pm; Seven Last Words from the Cross: 7.00 pm HOLY SATURDAY: Solemn Easter Vigil at 9.00 pm Confessions 10.-11.00 a.m. and 4.30 – 5.30 p.m. EASTER SUNDAY: Mass at usual times: 9.30 and 11.15. SVP – Music Quiz Night: the Hall was alive with music and the scratching of heads, with over 100 attending last Saturday night. Big thanks to all who participated in a fun way, despite in some cases lack of knowledge of the different genres of music. Special thanks to Stella Shepherd for providing lovely table flowers, Audrey and her two assistants Brian and Sara for running the raffle, Angela for so much hard work in the background, parishioners for donations, the Catholic Club for providing wine and to Claire for serving drinks from the bar. Lastly very special thanks to Quiz-Master Kevin and his assistant Janet who provided their services for free. The event raised £1089 including £237 from the raffle. These funds will greatly assist the SVP in responding to the ever increasing number of requests from people in need in Herne Bay and surrounding districts.
