FEAST DAYS THIS WEEK Weds. 12th Dec. Our Lady of Guadalupe. Thurs 13th Dec. St. Lucy. Friday 14th Dec. St. John of the Cross. THE CHRISTMAS FAIR last Saturday was a great success, thanks to the hard work and great creativity of so many parishioners and friends over the preceding weeks. People came in good numbers despite the poor weather and other Christmas Fairs elsewhere in the town. We raised over £2,100 which is really excellent. The money will go to the purchase of pew runners which we have now ordered and which we expect to have in place later in January. Thanks to a very generous gift of £2,000 earlier in the year and some other subsequent gifts, we are well on the way to the almost £5,000 the runners will cost. Heartfelt thanks to you all. ADVANCE NOTICE: Our Advent/Christmas Services will follow the customary pattern: ADVENT PRAYER SERVICES CONTINUE ON: Sundays 9th and 16th at 4.00 pm Our CAROL SERVICE will be on Sunday 23rd at 4.00 p.m. CHRISTMAS EVE: Family Mass at 6.00 pm – starting with Carols at 5.40pm MIDNIGHT MASS: starting with Carols at 11.40 p.m. CHRISTMAS DAY: Mass at 10.00 a.m.

THE WEDNESDAY LUNCH CLUB‐ Why not come and join us this coming Wednesday (12th) ‐‐‐ for £3 there will be a two‐course lunch, carols and a raffle. The meal will be served at mid‐day but tea and coffee will be available from 11.00. All welcome. Look forward to seeing you there!!
