FEAST DAYS THIS WEEK Weds. 12th Dec. Our Lady of Guadalupe. Thurs 13th Dec. St. Lucy. Friday 14th Dec. St. John of the Cross. THE CHRISTMAS FAIR last Saturday was a great success, thanks to the hard work and great creativity of so many parishioners and friends over the preceding weeks. People came in good numbers despite the poor weather and other Christmas Fairs elsewhere in the town. We raised over £2,100 which is really excellent. The money will go to the purchase of pew runners which we have now ordered and which we expect to have in place later in January. Thanks to a very generous gift of £2,000 earlier in the year and some other subsequent gifts, we are well on the way to the almost £5,000 the runners will cost. Heartfelt thanks to you all.
