arely does anyone think about bathrooms when it comes to renovation; no thanks to the notion that the bathroom is one of the most expensive rooms in the house to renovate, second only to kitchens. But you don’t need to spend much to overhaul your space and make it luxurious. Here are some tips on how to make your bathroom look as expensive. Use light colours: Using light colour decor items in little details in your bathroom will make it seem much lighter and brighter. The items can even make your space feel bigger because the light colours reflect light into dark corners. Don’t replace, just reface: Keep its budget friendly by just refacing or refinishing permanent fixtures that may involve messy removal. Etching a tub or shower’s worn surface with hydrofluoric acid is one way to go about it. Utilise your space: For obvious reasons, you want to maximise the space you have by adding as much store as possible. You can use a wine rack as towel holder or add some simple floating shelves. Fake a new floor: You know how good fake grass looks on a lawn, that’s the idea here. Save time and money and use peel-and-stick tiling. Upgrade knobs and pulls: Don’t fret if you don’t have the funds to spend on a custom vanity, just paint over and change the knobs and pulls and voila. You have a new looking vanity for yourself. Add greenery: Faux or real, these days it’s hard to know the difference. Use pinee cones, branches,, cotton stems to givee your bathroom thatt perk it deserves. Revamp your bathroom with any of our ideas, whether you want to do something simple or completely “up the ante’’ and have your bathroom looking like a million bucks.
