You will need to see a urologist. Anxiety and psychological problems are implicated. Part of the problem that as to be rule out include possibility of diabetes mellitus, thyroid function abnormality and hormonal imbalance. Like we have always said, the spouse is critical in management of premature ejaculation. Openness, psychological support and encouragement will help. You can see an urologist in Kaduna.

n this modern world of Aso Ebi, Maki Oh brings in different collection for the season. Aso Ebi is a Yoruba collection which was traditionally worn by the Yoruba people for ceremonies, traditional weddings and other important occasions. Aso Ebi is originated from the Yoruba’s which literally means “the family cloth.” Aso ebi comes in different form and in different materials such as lace, wax print and can also be woven by hand. But in recent time, Aso Ebi has gone wild beyond family use even people outside the Yoruba culture wears Aso Ebi as long as they like it and can also purchase it. From this showcase, Aso Ebi is plugged with fringe skirt, long gowns adorn with beaded or non beaded jewelries. The popularity of Aso Ebi has put tailors on the run of frequently putting efforts of satisfying their customers. Combination of Aso Ebi depends on the colors which are chosen. The two colors are chosen based on the cloth that is to be worn on the body and the one that will be tie on the head. Choosing of Aso Ebi for an occasion also depends on what the occasion is all about. If the occasion is for wedding, then the Aso Ebi is chosen to fit the wedding color, or an anniversary, it all depends on what the event is for.

INSPIRING WOMEN TO GREATNESS
interview by HAFSAH ABUBAKAR MATAZU
Khady Sall Tall is the president of the West African Civil Society Forum (WACSOF). She is Senegalese, a citizen of ECOWAS and also the President of the West African Women’s Association (WAWA).
CO V E R
I WAS BORN INTO A POLYGAMOUS FAMILY; MY FATHER HAD FOUR WIVES AND I HAVE 16 SIBLINGS BUT I DON’T MEAN TO BOAST BUT I WAS VERY FORTUNATE TO GROW UP IN UTMOST COMFORT AND HAVE EVERYTHING I COULD POSSIBLY NEED EVEN THOUGH I GREW UP IN THE VILLAGE Educational background Well, I got married at the very early age of 18 so my educational profile is quite interesting. I am a student of Management from the School for Civil Servants, Dakar and also, International Relations and Diplomacy from Strategic Studies for Diplomacy, Paris where I graduated from in 1999. Like I said before, my educational background is quite interesting because I actually grew up in the village because my father was a King, so that gave me the opportunity to go to primary school in Dakar. I then proceeded to secondary school in Rufisque, Senegal. But I didn’t go to university immediately after. So I started teaching in secondary schools and later on in vocational schools so I had the opportunity to teach and much later I got the opportunity to go back to school when I went to Paris. Career background I believe my career is an inspiration to young women. I am very passionate about gender issues and empowering women and I have had the opportunity to work in fields where I can make a difference. For a young lady that got married at the age of 18 and had a child, I should not be at the level that I am now but my passion, commitment and ambitions have lead me to where I am today. I am leading a managing organization in West Africa which works for women and also for the past years I have been working for ECOWAS for different causes. I consider myself the spokesperson for women here in West Africa. I was approached for the position so that I could add my contributions to the organization. I did not apply for it. Can you tell us your role at WASCOF My role is first to establish the leadership of the organization and make sure that I encourage a strong leadership that will push forward the agenda and issues in ECOWAS. But my most important role is to broaden its field of intervention so that we can have a safe society. My role also includes designing, implementation and monitoring the policies of WASCOF and also accountability which is really important towards the development of the organisation. What growing up was like I was born into a polygamous family; my father had four wives and I have 16 siblings but I don’t mean to boast but I was very fortunate to grow up in utmost comfort and have everything I could possibly need even though I grew up in the village. But what I lacked was the relationship with my father, seeing that he had four wives and so many children which most of the time we see in Africa, especially with the chiefs or kings in the village. But I am grateful that I was educated and that was the most important part of my childhood. I had my mother by my side who I learnt a lot from and who raised me to become the woman I am today. TAMBARI SUNDAY, D E C E M B E R 25, 2016 PAGE 30
CO V E R // KHADY SALL TALL Life challenges The major challenges I faced in my personal life was the loss of my husband. I was 40 then and we had three children and I had to take care of them alone. It was very difficult for me doing it on my own seeing the salary as a diplomat was not enough for me to take care of them. That was one of the contributing motivations that fuelled my career to become what it is today. In my professional career, a challenge I faced was when I was working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Senegal.I had challenges with my supervisor because I was travelling a lot. I was also doing my NGO work and she didn’t appreciate that, so I had to make a choice of staying or leaving so transitioning was also very hard. Aspirations growing up I realised when I was young that I just wanted to be in a position where I would take decisions and make a difference in the society somehow. What my typical day is like I don’t really have a specific routine. My life takes a different course each day because there is always something different or new to be done. Most cherished gift I actually don’t like really like receiving gifts. I’m more of the giving type. But my children have given me grandchildren so that is the most important gift I have received. Another gift that I cherish dearly is from Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu, a close friend of mine. Top 5 things on my wish list Firstly, it is to be able to change WACSOF into a bigger organization just like the way I picture it in my dream. Secondly, it is to be able to mobilise more resources for women in West Africa especially those in agriculture. Third, it is to have good health so as to be continuously proactive in the activities I am doing. Fourthly, to return to Saudi Arabia again and lastly, I’d like to buy a luxurious car for my retirement. Favourite music always on replay Traditional African music. First app I check in the morning/bedtime My email because of work. Favourite fashion items Any African accessory. What I wouldn’t be caught wearing Anything that isn’t African. It is what I feel comfortable in and it is part of my identity as a leader.
I ACTUALLY DON’T LIKE REALLY LIKE RECEIVING GIFTS. PAGE 31 TAMBARI SUNDAY, D E C E M B E R 25, 2016
Best travel destination I travel a lot but my favourite is Morocco. It is a beautiful place. How you relax I just watch TV. Favourite food Thieboudienne. It is a Senegalese dish made with rice and vegetables and for Nigerian food I love okro soup. Favourite fashion designer Sadiya Gueye. She learnt from Yves Saint Laurent and tailors my clothes. She is my favourite. Mum’s advice that stuck with me Be proud of yourself and what you do and always do what is right. Favourite day of the week Friday because all the good things that have happened to me happened on Friday. Beauty routine I dabble in everything that has to do with makeup but I love my makeup mild. Role model Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia. Looking back, what I would tell a younger me Be self-confident and learn from your mistakes. Always do what is right and what you know you will never be ashamed of.

Choosing the right clothes for your child‛s wardrobe by HAFSAH ABUBAKAR MATAZU
K
ids are always about having fun, fun and fun. And one of the most challenging things perhaps is knowing what to choose for your child’s wardrobe seeing that they spend most of their time at school and playing outside so it is obviously crucial to make sure that whatever you pick out is comfortable but, let’s not forget, stylish too. -It is a good idea not to pick a lot of white clothes for you kid seeing that they easily spoil their clothes with dirt and food so it would be a smart move to save these for occasions. -Patterns are a good way to go. Stripes, polka dots and zig zags are all cute on your children and very flattering too. -Incorporate a lot of shorts into their wardrobes. They will feel freer running around and doing all their kiddy activities in something in shorts. -Covered shoes are the best choice of footwear to keep their feet protected. Although it is important to ensure
you select the right size for their feet to avoid pain and discomfort. -And for the few days where it is all about looking good for a day out with mummy and daddy, some formal outfits like a dress or a suit is always essential.

Here some steps to ensure that you clean your baby’s ear safely and correctly. - Wet washcloth with warm water and use it to clean the earwax around the baby’s outer ear. Do not push the washcloth into the baby’s ear. - Fill a small and clean glass bottle halfway with hydrogen peroxide and half with water and shake and use this solution to clean your baby’s ears. - When your baby is calm to administer the eardrops, warm up the bottle and lay your baby on your lap. Caring for your furniture by PRISCA EKOKUJE-EMADU
I
t is Christmas and many people the world over are celebrating, making merry and dinning. People visit each other in a bid to express what the yuletide entails. But one worrying factor many may have is caring for their furniture. When you have visitors, especially those with children, then accidents like spilling of drinks and food become inevitable. Here are some easy and simple ways to clean such mess that may ruin the beauty of your furniture. - When there is a drink stain, depending on the kind, quickly get a clean towel to soak it up, to prevent it from absorbing. Then later get a sponge, soaked in detergent and water, scrub the stain and allow to dry. - Leather needs extra care; hence you should be very mindful of the chemicals you use to clean. Don’t scrub; instead use a damp cloth to clean. - Removing oily stains can be very tough to handle. Just add a bit of vinegar to detergent and water, then scrub the stain. Note that this is not applicable to a leather furniture.

The beauty D benefits of drinking water
by HAFSAH ABUBAKAR MATAZU
rinking water is important for our health. Almost every beauty related blog has something to say about water. Water makes up about 70% of our body so obviously drinking a lot of it is extremely beneficial. Here are some of the six most important beauty benefits of drinking water to stay looking and feeling youthful and flawless both inside and out. Glowing skin: Drinking adequate amounts of water doesn’t only keep you hydrated, it flushes out harmful toxins leaving your skin fresh and radiant Stronger nails: Having nails that constantly break and peel is a sign of dehydration. Drinking more water will ensure nail growth and prevent dry cuticles. Anti-aging: By staying hydrated, you’ll maintain your skin’s natural elasticity and suppleness thus preventing wrinkles and fines etching on your face. Clears acne: Another beautiful part about drinking water and washing away toxins is that it can prevent acne and other skin related problems too. Reduces hair loss: Did you know your hair is onequarter water? So drinking water greatly prevents hair loss, thinning, and breakage. With additional information from the internet
