CONSOLE AND MIRROR Placing an entire table in the corner is difficult and realistically, you will not need it in the living room. A thin console table, on the other hand, sounds much better! It can become a stand on which you can place flowers or the home telephone. If you add a mirror, it will look even better. In fact, if the interior allows, you can incorporate a tall mirror. This option will be especially effective if the mirror will be in a beautiful frame.

AN ORIGINAL FLOOR LAMP This idea is brilliant from both the aesthetical and practical viewpoints. In addition, this option will be the perfect solution if the corner happens to be between two couches or armchairs. This way, if you wish to read a novel in the comfort of your living room, the soft glow from the floor lamp will make this process enjoyable.

HOW TO FILL THE EMPTY CORNER IN THE LIVING ROOM You have probably noticed that even in a well-organized living room, the corners are generally “free running.” It is unfortunate to allow so much free space to be wasted especially if you do not have much room to work with. Let’s think about how to occupy the empty corner for it to be practical or at least aesthetically pleasing! CORNER FURNITURE The first solution that comes to mind is, of course, corner furniture. All kinds of cab-

POTTED PLANTS AND FOLDING SCREENS If you do not have any specific ideas for the corner, consider incorporating the classic palm tree or large fig in a beautiful pot.

inets and shelves are the kinds of furniture that will perfectly fit into the corner and at the same time be practical. You can use them to store various items or even as a home bar.

DECORATIVE NICHES If the idea of renovations has just come to your mind, look into the option of decorative niches in the corners of the living room. Pairing them up, you will create a very harmonious element of design. It will be ideal for symmetry in the American style of the interior. Nevertheless, the niches can be made in the Eastern style, if per say, you are looking for a Morocco interior.

This idea may seem simple, yet its effects are drastic. Another simple and realistic option is to “cover” the corner with a decorative folding screen. If the room is spacious and has two free corners, we recommend creating a symmetrical composition with two folding screens.

A WORK OR READING SPACE Believe it or not, but that empty corner that had no duty may instantly become a true home office or a mini library. Fortunately, finding corner furniture today is not a problem. Most importantly, ensure that the reading or working corner has sufficient lighting; you can use a table lamp or additional sources.

In capable hands, a rug made of sheep skin will not only refresh the living room, but will be a great addition to the bathroom, children’s room, and will even bring comfort to the cottage veranda. Not a single Scandinavian interior flourished without sheep skin and there is a good reason for this – it can be used as a rug, blanket, or even a bed for your four-legged friends. The soft and fluffy sheep fur does not collect dust or cause allergies. Furthermore, it is easy to clean with either a vacuum cleaner or the laundry machine. A monochrome rug made of sheep skin can be placed in any corner of the home and it will perfectly fit in.

HOW TO INCORPORATE SHEEP SKIN IN THE INTERIOR

A SOFT HELPER A soft rug is an absolute must-have in the children’s room. It can easily replace a chair and become a comfortable zone for activities with your child – games and crafts. Place the rug at the foot of the bed and evening reading will no doubt become a pleasant habit!

THE ABORIGINAL SANCTUARY You can place the rug in the children’s room inside a tent or tepee for warmth and comfort. Have no doubts – the size of the sheep skin will be more than enough for your child to get comfortable with the company of his stuffed toys.

A BUDGET DECOR It is not necessary to place the sheep skin on the floor. For example, you can use it in the Scandinavian style and decorate the kitchen chairs. This way, you will not go beyond the limits of your budget while making the interior of the kitchen even more comfortable.

AGAINST ALL RULES Despite the general sceptical outlook, rugs in the bathroom are very acceptable and even necessary. Why not make a warm floor soft as well? Not to mention, sheep skin in a crème tone will be harmonious with any colour scheme.

THE GARDEN Making a comfortable veranda is much simpler than you think. Soft skin covers for lawn chairs will instantly create a relax-

8

ing and serene atmosphere. Furthermore, it will effectively conceal any cracks or scratches on the furniture.

A REPLACEMENT FOR SLIPPERS Do not forget to place a small rug in front of the bed in your bedroom. It is much more pleasant to feel sheep skin under your feet in the morning rather than a cold floor. Moreover, the sheep fur will keep you warm even in the winter.

AN ECONOMICAL APPROACH The sheep skin will be a great replacement for the expensive beds for your pets. There is no need to pay more, especially since the sheep skin can be easily cleaned with the

e-mail: aahtoronto@gmail.com

vacuum. Be assured: your pets will not feel the difference.

CAMOUFLAGE Your guests do not have enough chairs for your evening get-together? Not a problem! Use your imagination and simply cover a stool in sheep skin and it will transform into a comfortable chair. Although it is lacking a back, it is warm and soft.

COMFORT IN THE HOME In the cold winter evenings, the sheep skin will become an irreplaceable blanket. Its size will be just enough to cover your feet. All you have to do is get comfortable and turn on your favourite TV show.

GLASS TABLES IN THE INTERIOR

If you carefully observe various types of interiors, you will notice that a glass table will look elegant in practically any style of design.

A GLASS TABLE IN THE LIVING ROOM The same can be said regarding the interior of other rooms in the home, including the living room. Generally, family and friends get together in this room so a table is a necessity. A glass table will become a good solution: it is elegant, “light,” and at the same time shows the aesthetic taste of the home owner. Today, a glass table can decorate a classical living room and a room in the modern style. Ensure that the combination of the avantgarde and the classical style harmoniously fit with the design of the interior.

A common guest of the living room and kitchen is the glass table. Despite the fact that this article of furniture has become quite popular, there are certain specific aspects of using a glass table in the interior. A GLASS TABLE IN THE KITCHEN Glass tables can find their place in almost any kitchen interior. They always look lightweight and buoyant; therefore, you should use a glass coffee table when you want to emphasize the “lightness” of your furniture composition. Furthermore, glass tables are effective tools that you can use to highlight the beauty of the construction of the table legs. With

10

a regular surface, they may be simply invisible but with a glass surface, you will be able to take a closer look at their intricate design. Many think that massive wooden legs for a glass table look quite heavy; however, we think the opposite – this is an interesting game of contrast of forms and textures.

A GLASS TABLE IN THE HOME OFFICE It is no secret that the modern home office is steadily moving away from minimalism towards luxury and even avant-garde. Today’s home office is the result of masterful designing. For this reason, the glass table is perfect for such an office.

The New Year started with great events: the opening of two interesting investment projects. The sales for the first project, “District Condos,” took place on January 23rd. All 250 units were sold in less than four hours. Those who invested into this project will surely receive large dividends in the near future. The project sold with large discount and today, the units worth is significantly greater. In this article, I will discuss the second project. In my opinion, it is a very interesting project to consider for those seeking secure investing in real estate. The project is called

14

ALL ABOUT HOME

“330 Richmond Condos” and will be located in the heart of downtown at 330 Richmond St, West. This is between Spadina Ave and University Ave. The location could not have been better! It is in the so-called “Entertainment District,” close to the centre of major offices, five minutes walk from the subway station, five minutes from Grange Park, and 15 minutes from the University of Toronto. These factors make this project profitable in the case of rent and reselling the contract prior to the completion of the project. Other projects that were built in this area sold out in days and upon completion, increased 30% in value. Furthermore, the project is distinguishable by its elegance and comfort. It will include everything; much like a five star hotel. For example, it will have a bar, barbeques, cabanas, concierge, a fitness centre, game room, lounge, movie theatre, party room, pool, terrace, men and women’s sauna, and a spa. This project is aimed to be completed in

e-mail: aahtoronto@gmail.com

the middle of 2018 and will harmoniously blend in with the architecture of the area. In the world of real estate, there is a scale called the “Walk Score” that rates every project in terms of how comfortable it will be living there without using transportation. It takes into account all possible infrastructures surrounding the project. The majority of projects in downtown Toronto have a Walk score of 92-96. In the past several years, I have encountered only four projects with the maximal score of 100. However, it is this very score that is assigned to the project “330 Richmond Condos.” I will now discuss the investing advantages of this area. In the past years, this area has dramatically changed; it has obtained several large-scale office buildings, the first floors of which have retail stores. Furthermore, there is an ongoing, active restoration process of historical sites. Two office-retail projects will be completed within the next year. The rent prices for units in this area are one of the highest in the GTA and are currently

at more than $1400 for a small studio. Furthermore, there are limited options in regards to the units available for rent. In the past year, the area has grown 8% in value with an average of 6% growth in all of downtown core. The figure above demonstrates the profit one can expect from unit rental if not taking into account the real estate appreciation. As we can see, the profit from rent is more than 15% annually, without considering appreciation.. If adding the 6% average increase in the price of real estate per year, then the unit mentioned earlier will bring $24 000 per year for the first four years which raises the total profit to 40% of the invested money annually. The 6% increase is usually taken into account as the average real estate rise in price over the last 40 years; however, for this project, we can expect an even larger growth.

period for which it is provided, the higher the percentage return will be. A small deposit enables investors to potentially attain 100% of yearly profit. This project is unique in the sense that the developer agreed to small deposits. The deposit makes up 15% in total (5% is provided 30 days after signing the contract and the remaining 10% is given in a series of four payments of 2.5% within a two year period). This is a rare condition; usually developers request 20% or more from the total price in the first year after signing the contract. In addition, my clients will have several privileges in this project: free contract assignment and the

option to assign the contract up to the closing date. Usually, the contract can be assigned only prior to the occupancy date and cannot be assigned in the six month period between occupancy and closing dates. Having this option is very important as the unit will be in your possession in this six months period and as such, you will be able to show the unit to the potential buyer. Finally, my clients will have a $6000 cashback from the builder upon closing for the Studio units, $7 500 for one bedroom units, and 10 000 for two bedroom units.

For the majority of brokers, there will be one day sales event: February 27th. Only several brokers have an “insider access to this project that will grant special sale conditions, mentioned above. In addition to this all of my clients will have the opportunity to choose a unit and sign the contract 10 days prior to the sales event day. This will be happen on the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th of February which gives you the opportunity to buy the best units before they become available to the majority of agents.

Finally, considering the sales conditions that I was able to attain from the developers, this project becomes of top interest for investors seeking to resell the contract before the completion of construction. In previous publications, I have already discussed the importance of a small deposit to obtain maximal profit. However, I will briefly mention that the percent under which your money will flow during construction directly depends on the deposit and the time at which it was provided. Since the total price of the unit increases and as a deposit you only invest a part of that money, the smaller the deposit and the longer the time

Lamps - Not Just For Reading! DVIRA OVADIA

Table lamps and floor lamps are highly practical, directing light for reading and other tasks. However, apart from being functional, they are also decorative and add beautiful visual aesthetic to a space. Every room needs a variety of lighting sources and consequently, lamp heights. Lamps ideal for task lighting also serve to highlight a space or provide ambiance.

16

ALL ABOUT HOME

Although floor lamps concentrate light for reading, they also serve as decorative furniture or art. Floor lamps highlight areas of a room and are ideal for small spaces such as hallways and entryways. Make sure to get the scale right for the space. If your furniture is oversized, do not choose a slender and frail light fixture – it will get lost in the room. When designing for our clients, lighting is never an afterthought. A beautifully situated floor lamp serves as a design element

that is sculptural and attractive in a space. It adds height, color, and a splash of a metal finish (chrome/gold) which creates an overall visual appeal. While tall table lamps add elegance to any room, smaller lamps can also stand alone with the right shade and style. Just make sure that you cannot see the light bulb socket or neck of the bulb when standing or sitting. In addition, before choosing your table lamp, decide if you want a lamp that

complements the decor or adds its own design element to the space. The proper lampshade can transform a basic lamp into exceptional decor. You do not necessarily need to use the lampshade that came with the lamp. Instead, mix and match shades to see what works best. If necessary, add a shade riser or extender to the top of the lamp hardware, raising the height of the shade. For a large assortment of lamp options visit Royal Lighting in Toronto. They have a vast array of the latest finishes and styles so you can find the perfect lamp to complete the space. Choosing lighting for a room is a talent in itself. As a professional designer, I have the skill and talent to coordinate and enhance your home and ensure that you start with a good lighting plan. The proper light will completely change the way you view your space. Whether on a console table at the front hall, a sofa table, side table or even make up table, a little light can make a bold statement.

Tips: 端 Mix your lamp bases but keep the shades consistent in design. Drum shades work great for contemporary spaces while tulip or flute-style lampshades work best with traditional decor. 端 Know where to place your floor lamps. For instance, arcing floor lamps provide dramatic aesthetic but are best suited for corners.

端 Add additional outlets throughout the space. Never string a lamp cord across a rug, the look is unfinished and sloppy. When designing a newly built home, consider lamp locations and ask your contractor or designer for a floor mounted outlet. This makes plugging in floor lamps and side table lamps clean and seamless.

HOW TO STOP WORKING AND START ENJOYING YOUR LIFE At some point in our life, we come to a conclusion that life begins to loose its meaning. Our job takes away eight hours from every day (in fact, not many people are able to go to the gym during their lunchbreak, or to find time to play hockey, or even visit a museum). In addition, we have to spend eight hours sleeping – that leaves just eight hours of “free” time. Then we would spend one and a half to three hours driving to our job and back. An hour or two would be spent for taking care of our body and eating (and that does not mean having a nice five course dinner, but rather finding a time for a brief sandwich-break). This really leaves us three to four hours of FREE time. We can do anything with this time. For example, we can take our younger daughter to her piano class, or no, today is gymnastics class. While she is at the gymnastics, we need to drive our elder son to his hockey practice. On our way we must stop by the pet shop to buy the dog’s food, but now we are running out of gas, so the gas station comes before the pet shop. Then we are already starving but lack of time leaves pizza or shawarma as the only option since we can easily get that to go. When we are finally back home we need to help our youngest son with his homework, then get his lunch ready and pack his backpack for tomorrow. And just as we realize that we have not yet walked the dog it is time to go

to sleep. But we did not call our parents yet to find out how are they doing and we also need to decide what we are going to get for our best friend’s birthday and what costumes we are going to wear for next Halloween. The time is midnight and the alarm will go off at seven, but we still must watch that movie which everybody has already seen and are talking about everywhere we go. OK, we can catch up on sleep on the weekend because we can afford to get up at eight (kids’ classes begin at 9:30 and the traffic is not that bad). Gladly we are living through the most techadvanced times. We save a lot of time by pressing computer and cell-phone buttons. We can easily reply to e-mails, like a page on Facebook, find time to sneak a tweet on Twitter during our work hours (just to get some feedback from our “dream” job, except three vacation weeks per year). Gladly our salary is not bad, some of us even have a decent income; and if both spouses in our household work we can afford a new 3500 sq. ft. house in a prestigious neighborhood, as well as a couple of new Lexus or Mercedes cars (or even Porsche or Tesla). We can get the best skis, a power kite, a snowmobile, a seadoo or even a yacht. We might even afford a vacation trip to Miami, where we can spend a week or two on a beach. We can gather old friends and go

WOW! What a life! This is a “YES” life! But there is one “NO”: where do we find the TIME for all of that? Can we stop working? But to stop working means to say good-bye to our decent salary, prestigious home, skis, flights to Paris, etc. No, we cannot do this now, not when we have just tasted the good life. We are too old to leave something for later (if that “later” will even come). There is only one way out of this situation – to get rich... without working. John D. Rockefeller once said: “The path to great wealth – a passive income that comes regardless of your efforts. Create a source of passive income – and enjoy life!” One of the most risk-free (if not the riskfree) source of passive income is long-term investments in real-estate properties that can be used monthly to generate positive cashflow through rent. This is the way to STOP working and START enjoying your life! The amount of initial funds available and the time frames needed to establish the desired cash-flow vary from person to person, and it is impossible to print a detailed outline with all the numbers and factors in a magazine article. However, all these materials are conveniently gathered on more than 20 pages of the “THORNHILL INVESTORS REPORT” which you can easily get right now. Best regards, Konstantin Parilov

windsurfing or we can get those best skis and fly to the Alps to spend ten days on one of the best slopes in the world. On our way back we can stop in Paris for three to four days to go shopping for new clothes. We can think about spending next New Year in Hawaii or celebrating anniversary with our spouse in Las Vegas and our kids’ birthdays in Disney Land, or making an eighty-day journey around the world...

THE CHARACTER OF WATER in Interior Design

The interior is an environment where the aesthetics and energy of the space tightly interact and cooperate. In the interior, water plays an intriguing role; on one hand it is a beautiful character, an aesthetic element, and positive energy and on the other, it is a life necessity without which the home is unimaginable.

Indeed, the plumbing systems in the home are technological aspects of life; nonetheless, all of the details must be presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner. So how do you create friendship between aesthetics and technological necessity?

HIDING THE UNSIGHTLY First of all, you should remember that it is possible to decorate various technological

gadgets, especially if they do not blend well with the design of the interior. For example, if you have a filter but it absolutely does not fit in with the Provence style of your kitchen, you can easily conceal it with a wooden tabletop or behind the façade of the kitchen cabinet. It is another deal if the filter shines in stainless steel in your high-tech style kitchen – this is only to your advantage. The same idea applies to pipes, valves, and other plumbing details.

USING NATURE’S AESTHETICS Water is beautiful! It is no surprise that people always adorned water fountains, ponds, and pools. Today’s technologies allow you to obtain a water fountain in your own home, using the beauty of water as decoration for the interior. The bathroom creates an opportunity to apply water as a natural decor. Another interesting option is a tabletop made to resemble the flow of water – it will be hard to believe that the surface is indeed stable! All of the original methods of incorporating water in your home – whether it is an aquarium, fountain, or water wall – will make your home original and harmonious.

5 Useful Facts about Small Household Appliances It is impossible to imagine the modern home without helpers such as the vacuum, iron, or kettle. If there is demand, the offers will expand: with today’s abundance of technology, it is easy to get lost but only if you do not know some secrets.

1

The capacity of an iron dictates how fast it will heat up. Most irons function on 1500V; however, if you are looking for more power, consider 1800-1900V. The most im-

portant component of an iron is the base. A steel base, although quite heavy, is easy to clean. An aluminum base is lightweight and heats up fast but it is easily damaged by a zipper or button. A ceramic base is an effective glider but it is fragile and not very suitable for household purposes. A Teflon base is very friendly to the fabrics, despite the fact that it is not very good at sliding.

2

When choosing a vacuum, pay attention to the suction power, not the energy consumption. These are two different concepts; some models of vacuums use very little electricity and yet are effective at collecting gar-

bage. The quality of cleaning also depends on the dust-collector that is used in the vacuum. As the bag or storage section for collected dirt becomes full, the effectiveness of the vacuum decreases. The detergent vacuums are more effective as their suction power is consistent. Subsequently, these models are more expensive.

3

Electric kettles are often chosen according to the heating element. Those whose heating element is in the shape of a disk heat water faster than ones with a spiral. Furthermore, the spiral has the tendency to collect residue which sufficiently reduces the life expectancy of the appliance. Also take note of the following instance: the more litres the kettle can contain, the more powerful it has to be. If 1000W is sufficient for 0.8L, then 2L will require around 3000W.

4

The kitchen food processor is a fascinating appliance combining in itself a blender, mixer, and grinder. In some cases, it is better to buy one such appliance rather than a set of small ones. Be mindful, however, that this appliance will take up quite a bit of space and its multi-functionality directly depends on the producer. The power to volume ratio should be as follows: for 1.5L a minimum of 300W is required whereas for 2L, 700W or more.

5

The hairdryer, besides the power of the motor (which is usually 1000-1100W, maximum 1600W), possesses two other qualities which should be taken into account when making a purchase. The first is the flexibility of the wire as this appliance will be used in constant motion and a rigid wire will quickly become useless. The second is protection from over-heating and flaming up – the primary responsibility of the hairdryer is to be a safe device that does not possess any threats for the person or the home.

“IS IT TIME TO RENOVATE YOUR KITCHEN?” LINDA MAZUR

Spring is around the corner and our thoughts naturally move towards what we can improve in our homes; perhaps this is the year your kitchen will make the list! Kitchens today are becoming more of an extension of your main living space. They are not just a place to prepare your meals, but a place to entertain and catch up with family and friends. The trends for our kitchens for 2016 see our spaces becoming more streamlined, fresh, and functional; not just for cooking but for living. The continued movement towards an open concept effect sees kitchens flowing into main living spaces, therefore kitchen designs are incorporating more ways to

conceal or integrate the “functional” aspect of your kitchen such as appliances, sinks, and faucets. Consider a great line of sinks and faucets from Blanco in their exclusive Silgranit material. The sinks are available in seven different colors that are inspired by earthy, natural tones which blend well with so many trending countertop possibilities. Silgranit is virtually indestructible! It is durable, scratch, impact and heat resistant, and extremely easy to clean. Compliment it with one of the new Silgranit or dual finish faucets to create a modern and coherent look in your kitchen – and an effective way to create a clean, uninterrupted look with your counter. Countertops are getting a facelift as well, playing up the movement towards a seamless look. Thick counters are being pushed aside with the appearance of thinner countertops in a color similar to your

cabinetry creating a sleek and consistent look in your kitchen. White and neutral kitchens maintain their popularity, but we are seeing the emergence of bold pops of color to create more drama. You will be seeing color in everything from lighting, backsplashes and appliances, to sinks and faucets. White is always a staple in cabinetry, but do not be scared to add some color to your cabinets like light grays, pale blues, or even strong charcoal grays. What is gone, however, is the dark espresso wood which is being replaced with fresher, lighter tones such as white oak and walnut that show a bit of a grain and texture. Trends are great to enhance the aesthetic of your kitchen design; however, it is important that you also pay close attention to the functionality of your kitchen. Maximize the space you have, whether large or small, efficiently. Think about how you are currently using your kitchen; what works for you and what does not. It is crucial that you understand your new kitchen design to ensure that your space will be functional for your own personal needs. There are many great features that you can add to your kitchen when renovating that will help create a clean and streamlined look, not to mention make life a bit simpler. Consider including a hidden “charging station for phones and tablets, hidden drawers in the toe kick space which is great in smaller spaces to accommodate trays and platters, or perhaps a shelf with a hydraulic lift for your food processor. These are all great ideas and ways to efficiently maximize every inch of available space. These trends can create many amazing designs for your kitchen. Embrace what 2016 has to offer and do not be afraid of exploring your creativity. Make your kitchen an inviting room where you are happy to entertain and live.

The dynamic world of interior design offers us new trends every season. Just as people were becoming excited over the massive crystal chandeliers worthy of hanging in a royal palace, a new wind carrying a minimalistic approach once again adjusted the general direction of fashion. In this article we will discuss geometric chandeliers in the art-deco style that are becoming increasingly popular this year. Needless to say, if your interior is in the classical style with luxurious furniture and an enriched dĂŠcor, a crystal chandelier with bronze or nickel is a very suitable option. However, if the interior does not ask for conformation to the classical style, geometric chandeliers become a great option that you can incorporate in your home this season. The attractiveness of these chandeliers is in the simple line that creates a unique construction. At times, several interactions of these lines become a true masterpiece of design where harmony is king. An important aspect in the design of these unusual chandeliers is a metal covering of a copper or golden colour. Symmetrical or asymmetrical geometric chandeliers both

look wonderful in eclectic interiors – the minimalism or modern style. If you want to quickly renew the interior, incorporating a geometric chandelier will effectively enhance the dÊcor. It will become an interesting detail that will serve as a highlight of the interior and will surely attract attention.

e-mail: aahtoronto@gmail.com

Before incorporating an accessory of the latest trend in your interior, even if you really love it, analyze whether it will be suitable in the interior in half a year. It is very likely that chasing modern trends is not what your interior needs; rather, you may find an item that is not very popular yet perfect for your home.

The Role of the Ceiling IN STYLING THE INTERIOR ing. The drywall will conceal any electrical wires and will enable you to enjoy the play of colours created with the help of various spotlights.

STRETCH CEILINGS This unique ceiling can instantly transform any interior. Stretch ceilings are very popular and are used in all kinds of interiors. They are practical, durable, and have a wide colour scheme. A glossy fabric will visually enlarge the interior creating the effect of a mirror ceiling. If choosing the correct image for the ceiling, you can create an unforgettable interior design. In the children’s room, you can order a stretch ceiling depicting the sky and the sun; the interior will always be filled with a positive and joyful atmosphere.

STRETCH CEILINGS WITH PHOTO-DEPICTIONS When developing any design project, it is essential to first decide on the style of the interior. In this process, the ceiling plays a very significant role. Every style requires a specifically designed ceiling. For example, the Scandinavian style does not allow for colourful and multilevel ceilings whereas the high tech style is the opposite, allowing you to use the most unusual forms and colours. In interior design, every small detail is significant. When organizing the interior, we want it to be beautiful, practical, and to have a complete look. For this reason, there are three primary components of a successful interior: the floor, walls, and the ceiling. Together, the three are the highlights of the interior.

26

ALL ABOUT HOME

Many people think of the ceiling as a secondary detail in design; however, this is not the case. The first movement a guest does upon entering your home is looking up and an uneven and unpleasant ceiling will be immediately noted. It can completely ruin the interior.

For creating a romantic atmosphere, the bedroom ceiling can depict the night sky. As another option, it can incorporate fabrics with flower prints. When correctly formulating the interior, the ceiling should be the finalizing element that will highlight the room.

Therefore, when choosing the overall style of the interior, much attention should be given to the ceiling. It has to be harmonious with the rest of the interior and be a part of the whole look.

The living room can also obtain a breathtaking look with the help of a combination of various types of ceilings. You can combine a ceiling made of drywall with elements of a stretch ceiling– this will create an unforgettable image.

Thanks to modern technologies, it is possible to mount ceilings of any difficulty, configuration, and colour. Stucco ceilings are now in the past; today, the approach to the design of the ceiling has to be well thought out and creative. An original design can be created with ceilings made of drywall. Applying different tones of paints to various levels of the ceiling is an effective zoning technique. Moreover, these kinds of ceilings enable the creation of an interesting and unusual light-

e-mail: aahtoronto@gmail.com

A beautifully designed ceiling is first and foremost the expression of your artistic talent; the interior will reflect how well you sense harmony and your definition of beauty. Regardless of the design of the ceiling that you choose, ensure that it highlights the originality and style of the interior. Correctly chosen elements of the interior have the ability to transform any interior into a beautiful and exquisite living space.
