Ok, so in Home Business Marketing Strategies 101, we talked about your perfect prospect. And in Home Business Marketing Strategies 102, we talked about how to attract the perfect prospect into your business. In Home Business Marketing Strategy 103, we are going to talk about how to bring in sales for your business. Now keep in mind that when you understand and implement what I covered in Strategies 101 and 102, you should have the right people looking at you, who you are, what you do, and how they can be a part of it. And considering that my own personal definition of marketing is getting the right message, in front of the right person, at just the right time – Strategies 101 & 102 will have helped you to clear a direct path to your target, before you start shooting – meaning that you are now going to be marketing your offer.

Because ultimately – your work now – is to provide a solution to your prospect’s problem, a situation they are in, or a circumstance they are facing. Yes, they are looking for a solution, and they believe that you may have it. Now of course, through technology & automation, and knowing your market extremely well, you could make a lot of sales, without even speaking to anyone on the phone. This is what Internet Marketing and having a high converting marketing funnel is all about. So when you finally do speak to someone on the phone, they may already be a customer. And get this… your best lead, is someone who’s already bought from you.

Because chances are, they will buy again, and again, and again. Which means that they are no longer just a customer, but could turn into a raving fan. And, a raving fan, has the potential to not just be a buyer, but become a client, as long as you offer additional products and services that would put them in an exclusive group that qualifies for more of your time and attention.

So, how do you get your perfect prospect’s attention? Well, if you have any one on one interaction with them, the key is find out more about them than they find out about you – to be more interested in them, than trying to be interesting to them. You’ll want to ask questions, listen below the surface, and send the unspoken message that you are the


leader they are looking for. And at the same time, you must have an offer that provides them with a solution to whatever their challenges are.

I call this Consultative Marketing, meaning that you are acting as a Consultant to your market – a Solutions Provider – someone who has the answers to their problem. In other words, your market feels that there is a relationship between you, and there very well could be – if you have met or know them personally, or perhaps you interact with them often on Social Media platforms like Facebook, or Google Plus. Now, that doesn’t mean that we have to have personal interaction with every single person we are marketing to – matter of fact, quite the opposite actually. The key then, is to create an expectation so that although your leads, contacts, and prospects feel that they know, like, and trust you, they don’t feel the need to speak with you one on one – until they’ve already purchased your product that is. And the way to do this is through a combination of good direct response copy writing, powerful connecting strategies using Social Media Marketing, like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and various syndication tools that allow you to distribute your message, and of course learning how to close, ask for the sale, and get your cash register to ring.

Obviously, until a sale is made, no matter how good you think your marketing is, it isn’t. But Consultative Marketing is the KEY to big success. Because you are not pitching your deal. You are not pushing your product. You are not even prospecting people. You are creating a web of content, connection, and closing systems that do most of the heavy lifting for you. The best part, is that you can set it up so that most of its on autopilot, which frees up more of your time, to do the things that put more money, in your pocket and bank account.
