Message From Your LTG Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great winter break! A lot is coming up in January and February from DCON planning to new events! So keep looking for updates and information as I send it out to you!

Lieutenant Governor Elections When: January 13th, 12:00pm

Where: Sussex County Main Library 125 Morris Turnpike, Newton, NJ 07860 What does a Lieutenant Governor do? Lieutenant Governors work to strengthen their division by communicating with individual officers and organizing events that will involve students in service. Responsibilities include visiting and reporting on the clubs in our division, creating newsletters, keeping constant communication with officers, files monthly forms, and attending Mid-

winter Training, District Board meetings, Fall Rally, RTCs, and District Convention. Why might I want to run? Being a Lieutenant Governor is an extremely rewarding experience! You have the opportunity to travel all over New Jersey with a group of fellow LTG who will become some of your best friends. Not only will you get to work with more clubs, you will get to participate in more service projects and learn new ways to be a servant leader.

District Questions What are some ways to fundraise for District Project?

You can fundraise for the District Project through almost any fundraiser! You can have canned food drive competitions between the grades at your school or a sports tournament with food or money as the entrance fee. You could have a bake sale to raise funds or even a garage sale! The possibilities are endless! So ask your club members for suggestions How do I stay on top of both Key Club and school as school gets busier?

Balancing school and Key Club may

be difficult as the year goes on, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice one for the other. Personally, my biggest issue with work from both is procrastination. To battle this, I set alarms for myself to prevent putting off work. I also take time when I feel bored or feel I have nothing to do to catch up on upcoming homework or papers.
