Hi Division 22! I’m excited to be sending you all my second newsletter. As school is ending, it will be harder for you all to continue your work, (Key Club doesn’t stop in the summer) but I am sure we can work together and hold divisional council meetings and service projects throughout these next few months. Thank you to the clubs that have let me visit so far, I hope to visit more of you before this summer. I’m also very excited to announce that I will be attending International Convention in July and

will be keeping you all updated throughout the convention from July 5th to the 9th. Here I will be meeting Key Clubbers from all across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean, elect next year’s Key Club International Board, and further train for my position as your LTG.

RTCs Thank you to everyone who made it to Phillipsburg for regional training conferences! It was fantastic to meet you all and I look forward to seeing even more of you at fall RTCs on the following dates: • September 16th- Millville High School • September 17th- Montville High School • September 24th- Arthur L Johnson High

District Project For the 2017-2018 service year, we will continue with our previous district project, Hunger in New Jersey. 1 in 8

people in New Jersey struggle with hunger and together, we can prevent that from

happening in the future. To the right is a map o the food banks in New Jersey

that you can donate to. Our goals this year are • $60,000 • 56,000 lbs of food

• 14,000 service hours

So keep up the good work and help us reach our goals

to fight hunger!

Shout Out Congrats to Hackettstown for raising 53 lbs of food and 6 service hours for the district project this month!

Rosters & CMRFs I’m very happy to say that all clubs within our division have submitted their club rosters! Also, all CMRFs this month were in on time. Keep up the good work everyone!

Key Leader Key Leader is a Kiwanis sponsored program that teaches leadership skills to students in grades 9-12 and is open to both key clubbers and non-key clubbers alike. This weekend retreat is a great chance to meet everyone from all over the district, learn what it means to be a servant leader and participate in team building activities all while having fun! This year, Key Leader will be held at Baptist Camp Lebanon in Lebanon, NJ from December 1st to 3rd. This also happens to be on my birthday and I cannot think of any better way to celebrate than to be with my fellow Key Clubbers! The weekend will cost $215 which includes all expenses and Key

Clubbers can receive a discount on this price for early registration. Those who have attended in the past can apply to be student facilitators, and will receive a further discount, as well as the privilege of leading their peers. Registration is open at Key-Leader.org and be sure to select Baptist Camp Lebanon. We encourage everyone to consider attending this beautifully orchestrated event. We hope to see you in December!

Fall Rally Fall Rally is the largest gathering of over 3,000 Key Clubbers to kick off a new school year of service! It is held each year at Six Flags Great Adventure. Admission includes a fun and informative session, a pass to ride the rides all day, and Fright Fest. Learn about Key Club while having fun at Six Flags!

This year, for our 2017-2018 District Project, we are holding a food drive! Bring canned food items and nonperishables to be donated to the New Jersey Federation of Food Banks! You'll meet Key Clubbers from all across New Jersey, hear about service opportunities and updates from the District Board, and last but not least, grab some cheese fries and ride roller coasters with your friends! This year, Fall Rally is on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. I will send out a flyer shortly with all information on pricing and for you to use to advertise to your club!
