JORG KARG FESTIVAL OFF - PHotoESPAÑA 19’
28/06-07/09
Raised and currently living in Germany with an unbridled obsession for pictures, Jorg Karg has been focusing on digital collages for around twelve years now. He takes photographic material, rearrange it, and abstract it, using photo-editing software.

“During the process of development and production, I don’t think about the meaning or importance of a work. One step follows the next until the expression convinces me. Later, when it comes to capture the work and find a title, I reflect the piece by taking all factors into account which affected me during the process. And that is also the time when I take notes on it. Ultimately, however, the image ant title can only give a hint, because what each one sees, interprets or senses in interaction with the work, can never be grasped. So what comes closest to a description of each work are those notes that I make during this process.
