T has been few weeks now since we adapted our theme for this year “Revive Us Again,” and I thank God that He is continually reviving many Christians to serve God. Don’t let it stop. Allow God to work in our hearts today and challenge us through the preaching of His Word. God did also revive several other pastors and delegates as our daugh ter church, CBBC-Taguig under Dr. Gil Laurena hosted the Old-Fashioned Baptist Revival. In a way, God used our young people through their skit, our church/college choir to encourage the delegates to stay and remain faithful to the Baptist Faith on the opening night. What God is doing in that church just shows that our labour is not in vain. Also, many men were encouraged as we heard God’s power through different testimonies given during our Men’s Fellowship last Friday night. I continually encourage more men to get involve on this event, and be taught how to be better leaders of our respective families in serving God. Two Sundays from now will be the start of our Anniversary month. In preparation for that, we will have a Lord’s Supper on Wednesday night (Jan. 27). Learn more about it as I teach about Lord’s Supper this afternoon. Again, I challenge you to participate for our Anniversary through soul winning, praying, fasting and encouraging others to join as well. We are aiming for 20,000 visitors, or 5,000 every Sunday. I cannot do this alone, so cooperate with your area leaders and be excited about it. This is the Lord’s work!

S Christians and members of Christian Bible Baptist Church, we believe that the King James Bible (KJB) is the very word of God. The Bible says in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” The word of God is already settled in heaven before we handled it. It is our privilege as Christians to be a member of this church that teaches nothing but the very pure word of God. There are some ways to express our faith that KJB is the very word of God: As children of God, we SHOULD ….
1. Stand on what it says Daniel showed an example to be followed when he refused to worship the golden image which King Nebuchadnezzar erected. He didn’t mind about the lion’s den but rather on his Lord’s direction in Exodus 34:14, “For thou shalt worship no other god:” 2. Stay on its doctrine In 2 Timothy 3:1, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” Nowadays, men were easily carried by different doctrines coming from various deceivers (cults) that lead to a miserable life. Praise God, for the King James Bible will give us knowledge how to have an abundant life through Jesus Christ, John 10:10 “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” 3. Submit to it KJB is the word of God therefore His will also is written therein. Knowing that it is the only manual God has written for us, our obedience to its teaching shows our faith. Hence, knowing and doing all these mark that the Bible is indeed our final authority. a

Sumusunod ako’t sa habag Niya, masaya ako sa Kanyang pagmamay-ari! “Bilang itinalaga sa Espiritu sa kapangyarihan ng Kanyang tagumpay… Kailangan mong labanan ang mundo, pita ng laman at Diablong kaaway.” Salita iyan ng Diyos sa hamon Niyang pumapatnubay. Nagpapasakop ako’t sa karunungan Niya, sumusulong ako sa Kanyang pakay!
