O

NE more week and our month-long 31st Church Anniversary will begin. I am excited on what God is about to do again. The Soulwinning Conference, especially our Lord’s Supper last week was just in time to set our hearts right for this big event. Every year, we set aside several Sundays as our Anniversary to celebrate God’s faithfulness in our church. The best way to appreciate that, I believe, is by bringing more souls to His feet. I also believe that if He was able to give us success last year, He will prove it again to us this time. This is not just about bringing thousands of people, but about glorifying God. I challenge every member to cooperate with your respective area leader, and work together as a team to reach our goal. 20,000 may seem impossible, but if every member would participate, plus the power of God, this would be possible. You have this opportunity to invite your neighbors, relatives, schoolmates, co-employees, and your friends. This may be the time for them to get saved. Don’t just sit on the sidelines, let’s work together! Let us have compassion and see what Jesus saw. This will motivate us to reach our goal. Pray that God will use thisAnniversary month so that many souls will be saved, members will involve themselves 100% and revival will be evident in every believer and in our church.

Philippians 1:27 / Colossians 1:29; 4:12 I. Believers in Christ are to strive together for the faith of the Gospel. A. As members of the local body of Christ, we must stand fast in one spirit and to have one mind in striving to keep and fight for the faith. B. ACTS 29 | JANUARY 31 | PAGE 02

A. We must endeavor to advance Christ’s Kingdom unto the uttermost part of the earth. B. We must guard the purity of the Church. “you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” C. We must be a part of the mission giving and soulwinning effort of the Church. III. Believers in Christ are to stay together for the fulfillment of the Gospel. A. We can help in the advancement of the church through our faithfulness. B. Believers of yesteryears shook the earth with the Gospel of Christ, and we can do likewise today. █

God’s Formula of Success

by Bro. Jun Garapan Area 16

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

F

ROM this verse, we can see God’s formula of success. However, success could only be attained as we do or apply the word of God in our lives. The verse says, “that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Indeed, God promised us success as we learn to apply God’s Word in our lives. How could that happen?

I. Problem will be avoided a. The verse says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth.” b. Most of our problems are but a product of the words that we say or speak of which sometimes hurt the people around us. In return, it breaks our good relationships and cause problems within our

c. If the words that would come out from our mouth would be “seasoned with salt,” based upon the Word of God, then for sure we can avoid a lot of problems in our lives. There will be success in our relationship II. Peace will be attained. a. The verse says, “but shalt meditate therein day and night” b. God wants us to meditate His Word rather than the problems that are coming in our lives. He wants us to meditate His goodness rather than our failures. c. The Bible says in Ps. 119:165, “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” III. Prosperity will be acquired a. The verse says, For then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,” b. God promised us a prosperous life as we do and apply God’s Word in our lives. The verse says, “…that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” c. The Bible says in Rom.4:21, “And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” Truly, this promised success is available for those who would learn to do and apply God’s Word’s in their lives. a

Ayon sa Biblia, Iisa Lamang ang Daan Patungong Langit!

A

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
