od has proven it once again that there is blessing when we serve Him faithfully. The impact of our recent Anniversary is still evident

as many visitors came back last Sunday. This resulted to more than 3,000 in our church attendance last week. More than being glad in the increase of attendance, I am rejoicing because souls have been saved and that many Christians have been revived in experiencing that God indeed can use them. As we focus on love for Godâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Word this month, let us continue to build a deeper relationship with the Lord and His Word. I encourage you to read His Book and meditate upon it everyday. To our new converts, just keep on attending church, and grow in loving the Lord. This is the best way to learn to love Him more. Then our involvement in the ministry will just be a result of that. Our spiritual growth will be always dependent on how much we love His word and the church. It is a blessing to have you in church today!

Sa buhay na salita ng Diyos, nagaganap ang pagliligtas Tunay ngang dala nito’y pag-ibig na wagas Kaya ito’y ating ibahagi’t ipamalita sa gitna ng mapaghatol na batas Bilang Kanyang mga tinubos sa dugo Niyang nakapaghuhugas. oes God’s Word ever cause you discomfort? When you read the Bible does what you read make you uneasy?

Do you find when you listen to preachings, that the Scripture seems aimed directly at you? You are experiencing the reality that the Word of God is alive and can read your thoughts and judge your intentions. When God’s Word speaks to us it is always for a purpose. God knows our hearts and knows what we need to do to bring our lives into conformity to Christ. If we have a problem with sinful talk, the Word that comes to us will address the tongue. If we are struggling to forgive, God’s Word will confront us with His standard for forgiveness. If pride has a stronghold in our lives, God’s Word will speak to us about humility. Whatever sin needs addressing, we will find we are confronted by God’s Word on the matter. One way we can escape the discomfort of conviction is to avoid hearing God speak to us. We may neglect reading our Bibles and stay away from places where it is taught. We may avoid those whom we know will uphold the truths of Scripture. The best response, however, is to pray as the psalmist did: “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:” (Psalm 139:23). May we regularly allow the Word of God to wash over us and find any sin or impurity (Ephesians 5:26). There should always have a connection between our lives to what God is saying to us through His word. Let us make a habit of taking every word from God seriously, knowing that it is able to judge our hearts and minds.

t is truly amazing what God can do to a church that wants to please Him! After two victorious Anniversary Sundays, I still rejoice in what God did through our church. Your hard work and dedication, seen in your prayer and sacrifice brought an attendance of thousands of visitors that got saved. We may not see the result instantly, but God has promised that His Word will not return to Him void. I want to express my sincere appreciation to all our area leaders, cooperative members, Gospel teams, Sunday School teachers, drivers, ushers, musicians, sound men, choir members and every individual who put in time of labour and assistance. It just reveals how much you love God. As God allows us to grow more, may we desire to know and love Him more! Today starts another year of journey towards our 35th Anniversary. May we live up to our theme “Year of Continuing.” Let us continue together doing the will of God with love for God, His church and His people! I am excited of what God has in store for us. Certainly, there will be hard times and struggles, but be determined, together with your family and every member that you will serve the Lord!
