“…With God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27). How privileged are we to trust in God Who assures that there is nothing too hard for Him. Knowing that our God is the impossibility-Specialist, we who are truly saved are fully guarded from hell’s eternal fire, securely freed against sin’s penalty, and greatly ensured with heaven’s riches. So tremendous are those eternal bestowments that God has granted us which we must constantly thank and praise Him for gladly. Along our grateful spirit must be our worshipful rejoicing for His daily wonderful provisions in our lives. These include His grace for our spirituality, His Word for our instructions, His forgiveness for our confessed sins, His supply for our needs, His goodness for our well-being, His might in our holiness-pursuits, His guidance in our endeavors, His answers to our prayers, His wisdom for our decisions, His healing for our

sickness, His comfort in our troubles, and His presence in our midst. May we always realize that “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22-23). Indeed, great is God’s faithfulness! Having God’s favor, we must continually trust Him with the faith He wants us to show. Let us then do our part for His kingdom through our involvement in the church. His benefits are more than enough reason for us to render our service to Him through soulwinning, discipling, and giving. May our attendance today in His sanctuary be glorifying to Him. Let every worshipper declare, “I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever” (Psalm 145:1).

Saved! Saved! We use many terms to describe a Christian like “saved,” “born again,” “believer,” “saint,” and the list of Biblical terms goes on. Yes, we cannot deny the fact that we need to study and understand these words because each of them was born from a certain scriptural reference. Our personal encounter with Christ, however, remains more important than those numerous terms we can call ourselves who received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Personal Saviour. We, then, confidently say “Glory to God, I am saved!” Jack Scholfield wrote the hymn of this article’s same title, “Saved! Saved!” He was a singing evangelist, and back in 1911, while assisting in an evangelistic meeting, he wrote the words of this song. The melody, he said, just came to him as a gift so he tried to make the words fit. This song became popular from the first time it was released and sung in the congregation. Saved by His power divine! Saved to new life sublime! Life now is sweet and my joy is complete for I’m saved! Saved! Saved! Scholfield’s encounter with God proves that God surely puts a new song in every believer’s heart. “And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD (Psalm 40:3).” This kind of praise can only come out from a gathering of Christ-believing people who are of one mind, one heart, and one voice, singing the joy of being freed from sin’s penalty! In the church, prove your salvation by singing with the fellow children of God! “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (Eph 5:19).” 04

“Encounters with Christ” Graciously Presented Baptist Heritage Bible College aims to create in her students a balance between academics and application. With such, each project challenges the class to do everything with excellence. Last March 3, Tuesday, God showed His mighty hand working over and amidst the sophomore students who graciously prepared and presented a great production entitled “Encounters with Christ.” Their short skits exposed some accounts in the Bible where common people had a remarkable meeting with Jesus. What highlighted the show was the series of testimonies of selected students from their class. Sis. Analyn Domaneo (CBBMMt. Province) spoke of her salvation and how Jesus moved her to answer her calling to study in BHBC despite persecutions from the family. Bro. AJ Arabis (CBBM-Cainta) proved that God can surely provide. Sis. Analyn Pasagdan (CBBC-Los Banos) heartily expressed how grateful she is to be made firm in standing for the right as far as modest clothing is concerned. Bro. Lemuel Juan (Faith Bible Baptist Church-

Solsona, Ilocos Norte) told how God crafted a great salvation story for him and how even more blessed he was due to his willingness to obey the Lord. At the last, the hearts of the crowd present were all the more stirred up when Pastor Arnold Vallejo, the professor-in-charge, preached and expounded on the impact of the encounters with Christ. Praise the Lord that He let us experience Him in many different ways which we can always tell others of. To God be the glory!

Additional Sunday School class and rooms opened for the single working ladies

23 years old and below while the 24-27 years old will be headed by Ma’am Beata Agustin. Meanwhile, the 28 years old and up will be under the ministering of Ma’am Liza Alivia.

In response to the growing need of students in the Single Working Ladies’ Department, an additional class was launched last March 8 in the newly owned and refurbished property of CBBC. This new class assignment with Ms. Ann Reyes as teacher would minister to the working ladies

We hope that with this streamlining of the number of students, the classes would be better able to connect and care to the discipleship and prayer needs of these precious sisters in Christ. Pray with us as we aim to boost our Sunday School numerically and spiritually. 05

Makabuluhan Ba Ang Buhay Mo? “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: ...yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”-Isaiah 46:10-11 May tatlong palasak na katanungang mahalagang matugunan nang tama ng bawat isa sa atin: Una ay kung ano ang pasimula ng Creation, ikalawa ay kung ano ang dahilang tayo ay narito, ikatlo ay kung ano ang batayan ng moralidad, at saan tayo patutungo. Sabi ng isang mathematician at Christian philosopher na si Blaise Pascal, “In each and every person, there is a void (empty space) that only God can fill.” Sa Pasimula ay Diyos. Ang unang talata sa Bibliya sa Genesis 1:1 ay nagpahayag na “In the beginning God...” Inusal din ni Haring David sa Psalm 135:6, “Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.”

Hindi natin kailanman maitatatwa ang prinsipyo ng Diyos at aasahang magtagumpay sapagkat, “The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:”Isaiah 14:24.

Nararapat lamang na maging tema ng ating buhay, “O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”Isaiah 25:1.
