" I MUST KNOW THE BIBLE WHERE I CAN GET MY PRINCIPLES FOR LIFE AND INVOLVEMENT. "
PRINCIPLES FOR INVOLVEMENT
God be praised for the open doors He is giving us in sharing the Gospel and in inviting people to our church. After our Anniversary month, He is giving us various opportunities to preach the Gospel. My two-week mission trip to Taiwan brought about hundreds of souls that were saved, revival in the people’s hearts, and Lord willing, the start of two new outreaches there. May we continue to pray for God’s work in Taiwan. Another open door we witnessed was the free medical mission that we had this past week in partnership with Medical Missions Outreach led by Bro. Bradley Edmondson. Praise the Lord for its great result! I challenge every member that while God is still giving us opportunities like what we have now, may we not overlook them. What matters is not really where we can involve, but how willing are we to be involved. A willing heart would be very much useful in God’s work. There are souls that must be reached, there are lives that need to be changed and God is counting on us to do it. Activities such as the Couples’ Revival, NBYC13, Daily Vacation Bible School and our weekly soulwinning are all opportunities you must not miss. Let us be resolved to involve! Have a blessed Sunday!

TAIWAN OUTREACHES VICTORIOUSLY CELEBRATED ANNIVERSARIES
C
Bible Baptist Church Outreaches in Taichung and Kaohsiung celebrated their anniversaries last March 11 and 18, respectively. Though it had been a cold and rainy Sunday morning in Taichung, the outreach still had the fire to bring visitors. God thus brought them victory—they had more than 90 visitors in the morning service. During their afternoon service, a number of people from Jhongli and Kaohsiung outreaches celebrated with them, too. The brethren were so happy. Kaohsiung Outreach had their victory likewise. Their excitement level was very high. Even without sleep from work, they went straight to the mission house just to fill their hungry and thirsty souls with God’s Word. Such eagerness and zeal can be seen in their lives. They invited their officemates and dorm mates and prayed earnestly for them. Thus the Lord rewarded them with an attendance of 213—144 First Time Visitors and 50 members. They even had a Taiwanese visitor, Soul, who happened to be the official photographer of the event. Praise God because he got saved that morning. How God works in the lives of these brethren is challenging and encouraging. Their Christianity is evident that one lady even testified that though her boss made her go to work on a night shift that Saturday, it would still not be a hindrance to her involvement in that Sunday morning’s big event. Her Chinese boss did not understand the reason for such; but surely it made an impact in his life, making him amazed at the lives of these Christians. These brethren are so wonderful. They are willing to be greatly involved in the Lord’s vineyard. It is indeed a blessing to feel their fire for the Lord, to have their sweet fellowship, and to see their great faith and joy in serving the Lord. To God be the glory! hristian

T was truly a blessing that God allowed the Medical Missions Outreach Team led by Bro. Bradley Edmondson from Calvary Baptist Church in Ashland, Ohio, USA to reach our shores for the second time from March 19-22, 2012. A total of 1,256 patients were examined, treated, and given free medicines. Most importantly, it was an opportunity where the Word of God was shared extensively with the many lost souls, which yielded a harvest of 673 professions of faith. Indeed, the LORD has wrought tremendous success in bringing out the best from the medical team. He has worked through all those who helped make the event a real blessing. These included the following: some local doctors from the office of the mayor who rendered their services; the numerous volunteers and coordinators who gave out their all by serving as interpreters, by assisting in the dispensing of medicines, by witnessing to lost souls, by securing peace and order in the area, by cooking and distributing food to the team; and the various government officials who facilitated in providing spacious venues for this special event. Surely such labour is not in vain in the LORD!
A Long Lake “When we come to the Bible, we may think of ourselves as looking at a long lake. It is one body of water, not bucketfuls lifted out here and there." “I have learned to look on God’s Word as that long lake, a body of water slowly moving along as it is fed from water upstream, a river flowing into it. That river is made up of truths flowing from the Almighty Giver of the Word. “At a certain point, the lake suddenly widens into an even larger body of water. That is where the New Testament begins, where God himself comes personally on the scene as the Son, Jesus Christ. That wider lake is so dominant as a part of the whole that it causes me to view the beginning part (the Old Testament) in the light of the wider lake. “Then I learned to think of that ‘Scripture lake’ in one other way: I would not only view it from above in seeking the truths it as a whole conveyed, I would also imagine myself being immersed in it—
saturating my very being in it, to make the ‘Bible lake’ more and more a part of my very life. “And I think of my Bible in this way as having one other feature: The water flows out in many rivulets. They go out over a wide area. These streams are the truths which God gives us through His Word, and they are truths that cover all of life and living on this earth. They not only apply to one’s personal life and to the church in how it is to be organized and carried on in its broad-scale work; there are such truths coming out of that ‘lake of Scripture’ that apply to everything humankind does on this earth: the way it organizes and runs its families, its schooling, its civil governments, its economy, its working life, its arts expressions, and so on and on. God’s Scriptures have specific or clearly derived principles for all manner of life on this planet.”
I. Mirror (Jas. 1:23-25) It reflects the mind of God and the true condition of man. II. Seed (Mt. 13:18-23; 1 Pet. 1:23; Jas. 1:18) Once properly planted, it brings forth life, growth, and fruit. III. Water (Ps. 42:1; 119:9; Prov. 25:25; Isa. 55:10; Eph. 5:25-27; Heb. 10:22; Rev. 22:17) It has cleansing, quenching, and refreshing qualities. IV. Lamp (Ps. 119:105; Prov. 6:23; 2 Pet. 1:19) It shows us where we are now, it guides us in the next step, and it keeps us from falling. V. Sword (Heb. 4:12; Eph. 6:17) It has piercing ability, operating with equal; effectiveness upon sinners, saints, and Satan. Of the various armor pieces mentioned in Ephesians 6:11-17, all to be worn by the believer, the only offensive piece is the “sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” VI. Precious Metals A. Gold (Ps. 19:10; 119:127) B. Silver (Ps. 12:6; Ps. 119:127;) It is referred to as precious metals because of its desirability, its preciousness, its beauty, and its value. VII. Nourishing Food A. Milk (1 Pet. 2:2) B. Meat (Heb. 5:12-14) C. Bread (Jn. 6:51) D. Honey (Ps. 19:10) It is referred to as nourishing food because of the strength it imparts. VIII. Hammer (Jer. 23:29; Acts 9:4; Jude 20) It has the ability to both tear down and build up. IX. Fire (Jer. 20:9; Lk. 24:32) It has judging, purifying, and consuming abilities.

testimonies of Victorious Involvement
We praise God for encouraging, enabling and empowering us to involve in His work through our church. We thank Him likewise for our brethren who are resolved to involve by His grace, through His leading, and for His glory. May their testimonies inspire us to do our part in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

“I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live and will sing praise to my God while I have my being”. – PSALMS 104:33 I praise and thank God for His greatness, along His marvelous and wondrous works in my life. Being a product of Thursday night soulwinning, I got saved on July 5, 2007. Being a member of this church since July 8, 2007, I am blessed for the honor and privilege. Through the prayer of my discipler and brethren, I surrendered my life in the ministry as a choir member on October 17, 2007. By the grace of God, I am still in the choir ministry. I thank God for the privilege to sing for Christ every Sunday and to render a special numbers. I praise God for the unlimited supply of physical strength He is giving me which enables me to be involved in His work, amidst the schedule of choir practices and challenges of secular job, like sleeping at 1:30 AM, and waking around 4:00 AM. Through all of these, I praise God for encouraging me to serve Him more and to continue for Christ sake. I truly thank God for strengthening me against discouragements and persecutions from the start that I joined the ministry. I can say that those and have made my life become more useful and meaningful. I likewise thank God for every preaching that I hear from His word through the man of God that He sends to stand behind the pulpit with a backbone to preach which helps me in grow in the faith and to be mature Christian for Christ. I thank God for the Church that teaches me to have a compassion for the lost souls, so that wherever I go, I let God use me specially in my work place. He always makes a way and opportunity for me to share the gospel with my co-workers. I thank God for Dr. Ed who is obedient to the high calling of God, and for his family, who is my pattern in my way of living. To God be the glory!
