E welcome this year’s second quarter with the revival fires of our blessing-filled April month. Yes, we expect, with excitement, and anticipate, with faith, the great power of God to work again in our midst in our planned, prepared, and prayed for summer pursuits for His glory. Today’s monthly theme is “Revive Us Again through Hot Preaching.” For the previous months, we had revival through the Holy Word of God, the House of God, and Helping Hands in our Involvement. We truly enjoyed the two-day sportsfest that reinvigorated our bodies, relaxed our minds, refreshed our fellowship bonds, and rejuvenated our friendship ties. We had proven once again that we can have great fun in turning a traditional holiday season biblically meaningful as joyful believers in the will of God. Along with this, we rejoice with our brethren who are members of this year’s graduating class. Congratulations. The Lord is honored with your achievements. May you keep up the good work by His guidance. Meanwhile, this week calls for our warm participation with fiery spirit for our scheduled April 9 Church-wide soulwinning. Let us show our valor and bravery in evangelizing on that “Araw ng Kagitingan.” We surely appreciate our heroes for their sacrifices in fighting for our freedom. As Christians who are already freed from the penalty of sin, we must help the hell-condemned sinners obtain their freedom through God’s power. Join us in our reviving rescue mission this coming Friday. Let us continue doing well for the Lord as we draw near to Him Who is the source of our revival in our prayer-life, Bible-meditation, stewardship-service, worship-devotion, and ministry-support!

Choir Ministry Our dear Pastor always desires a musical program that is vibrant and alive as he emphasizes that the purpose of all the ministries of Christian Bible Baptist Church is to fulfill the Great Commission. According to Psalm 40:3, “And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.” The music ministry is for the salvation of the lost and for the growth of every born-again believer. Though it will never replace the preaching of the Word of God, it surely helps edify every member of the church. “How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.” (I Corinthians 14:26) Not only the choir, the rondalla, and other instruments are the ingredients of the music program of our church, but also our congregational singing. This is then a reminder for every one of us that all of us have a big part in the music program of our Church. The choir is a ministry. Our Church’s music program has a membership of 60 ladies and 20 men. However, we cannot depend on that number because some of the members are called to the mission field. With our vision toward a Baptist City, this is just a small choir that will sing in our future 10,000-seating capacity auditorium. There is also a call for more musicians to help our Children’s choir, Junior choir, High-school choir, and College choir. With these choirs and musicians, we can pursue a more vibrant and lively music program of our Church.
Baptist Security Command (BAPSECOM) The Baptist Security Command (Bapsecom) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Non-Government Organization in 2001, and was accredited by the Philippine National Police (PNP) as one of the members of the Federation of Philippine National Police NGO (FPAN) in 2002. Being a church-based organization with its members free from vices, BAPSECOM was given by the PNP’s Police Community Relations Group (PCRG) and the PNP-FPAN the privilege of assisting the PNP in conducting the Moral Recovery Program (MRP) seminars or otherwise known as the School Based/Community Protection Program Seminar in all schools, barangays, and other institutions nationwide. This is under the memorandum issued by the PCRG Chief and the FPAN President to Dr. Ed M. Laurena, Bapsecom President, last January 19, 2003. Bapsecom’s authority to conduct the MRP is not only certified by the PNP-PCRG. Its mandate to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is a command from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself as Mark 16:15 states, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” The MRP seminars that are carried out by Bapsecom are greatly used by God in CBBC’s evangelism effort. Since the Bapsecom started conducting seminars last 2002, thousands of souls have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Some of them have also been invited and brought to the Church during CBBC’s big days and anniversaries. We can do more to fulfill the Great Commission as we reach out through our Bapsecom, that is now calling for more volunteer-lecturers. Be enlisted now for the sake of souls!

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
