"I MUST SEE THE CHURCH PEOPLE AS A TEAM INVOLVING TOGETHER IN GOD’S WORK."
PEOPLE IN INVOLVEMENT
While hot and perspiration-causing climate has brought inconvenience to many this past week, we are happy to witness God’s goodness outshining all adversities. Our evangelistic team’s recent trip to Bicol resulted to souls saved and an opportunity to sow a seed for another local church. His goodness also radiated in our Christian school’s graduation and banquet night. It is such a joy for me to see fruits of our investment. Preparations for our NBYC and DVBS also give excitement to many of us. Involvement in God’s work really is possible to those who have a desire. Be resolved to be one of the members who will involve in God’s work! As we gather today in church and listen to His Word, let us realize the needs of our fellow church attendees. Being attentive and cooperative in every part of the program always brings blessings to you and your seatmate. We must bear in mind that people come to church because they need God’s Word. If we will be a disturbance, we are hindering God to work in somebody’s life. I know that God always has something prepared for us when we come to church. Don’t miss it today! Let us have a Spirit-filled Sunday!

Church Bulletin EVANGELISTIC MEETING IN BICOL VICTORIOUSLY CONDUCTED After a long and strenuous drive last April 9, our Pastor, some men, and 20 soul winners arrived in Goa, Camarines Sur to see the potential of starting a Baptist church and to spread the good news around the town. To see souls saved and plant churches have always been the goals of our church. The lady that invited our Gospel team celebrated her 90th birthday, and our Pastor was given the opportunity to preach the gospel to her relatives, friends, and neighbors. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, there were about 100 people who accepted the Lord as their personal Saviour. On the next day, the Gospel team went out within the area to do some saturation and tracts distribution. The residents in town were very open to the Word of God. More than 250 people got saved. Truly, soul winning still works! Continue to pray that another lighthouse of the Gospel will be started in Camarines Sur. SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ SEMINAR-WORKSHOP IN BATANGAS It is a delight that our Church has been a great channel of blessing last Tuesday and Wednesday, April 10-11, as Ma’am Edna Adena, Bro. Jonah Raña and Bro. Jay-Ar Daracan conducted a twoday Teacher’s Seminar-Workshop in Batangas with the theme, “Labouring Together with God” taken from 1 Corinthians 3:9. The said event was hosted by CBBC, Sto. Tomas Batangas through the leadership of Pastor Oliver America. With thirty-eight (38) delegates from seven churches, our three Sunday School representatives taught biblical teaching techniques, organizing and disciplining in the Sunday School ministry, Scripture memorization methods and the importance of Gospel sharing with little children. It was an absolutely educational, fun-filled and challenging training. The participants were given a post-session activity to apply what they learned from the sessions. It is hoped that this kind of seminar will be done in other churches and missions as we continually share the blessings that we have in CBBC through our Sunday School Children’s Ministry. May God be glorified in all our endeavors. CBBA HELD BANQUET AND GRADUATION CEREMONIES The Christian Bible Baptist Academy (CBBA) successfully held its annual Banquet and Awards Night at Ding Hao Chinese Restaurant last Thursday, April 12. The event was attended by enthusiastic and excited students, parents, Staff and guests. Diligent students received the reward of their labour in finishing their requirements while obeying Gods leading in their lives. Rev. Arnold Vallejo preached an encouraging message entitled “Determined to Continue” which was the theme of that event. The Commencement Program was set on the following day, April 13, at the CBBC Main Auditorium. There were three graduates from the Little Builders (ABC’s of ACE) and eight from the Motivators (High School) Learning Center. Rev. Vallejo once again preached and challenged the graduates to continue in the principles that they have learned from the CBBA, and to follow the example of the Bible character, Joseph, who was determined to continue living for God even in the absence of his family for the LORD was with Him.
Life is not by chance. It's by choice.

LORD, MAKE US YOUR INVOLVED PEOPLE FOR YOUR WORK Beata Agustin Lord, make us Your involved people for Your work that calls for our best sacrifice So we can be dedicated because of Your mercies everytime we arise And overcome idleness of futile exercise In fulfilling our tasks with Your guidance, surely wise. Lord, make us Your involved people for Your work that demands our full responsibility So we can be determined along Your salvation-security And refrain from indulging in laxity In exerting our efforts while doing Your entrusted duty. Lord, make us Your involved people for Your work that increases our eternal treasure So we can be diligent thru Your upholding posture And prevail over worldly pressure In performing our roles with Your power’s gesture. Lord, make us Your involved people for Your work that deters our earthly toil-anguish So we can be directed toward Your ministry midst temptation to languish And abide in biblical standards Christians must distinguish In shining in our testimonies reflecting Your light no one could extinguish. Lord, make us Your involved people for Your work that declares our earnest commitment So we can be dependent on Your strengthening enforcement And triumph against pride’s engulfment In subjecting our limitations to Your enablement. Lord, make us Your involved people for Your work that expresses our spiritual choice So we can be delighted in Your Word with its heart-stirring voice And fight enticements of vanity’s noise In pursuing our goals for Your glory with honorable poise. Lord, make us Your involved people for Your work that supplies our blessed provision So we can be desirous of Your satisfaction And worship with sincerity filled with praises’ jubilation In giving our thanks to Your Being, worthy of our adoration.

“It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

"Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Psalm 48:1
