"I MUST LEARN BASIC THINGS ON HOW I CAN EFFECTIVELY INVOLVE."
PRACTICALITY OF INVOLVEMENT
As we approach another month this year, God’s grace to our church is again overflowing while we persevere to live by our theme, “Resolved to Involve.” He is using our church for the salvation of souls, baptism of new converts, edification of members, and transformation of lives every week. The opportunity we have had to challenge many youths this past week through our youth conference is an evidence of God’s work in our church. Truly, we praise the Lord for the privilege to influence many lives. As a pastor, it has always been my desire to influence not just our church and young people, but also other pastors and churches to do more for God. He has been providing those opportunities for us. Together with some of our staff, God gave us opportunity to help host a soulwinning conference in Iloilo under Pastor Ely Perez last Tuesday and Wednesday. Simultaneously, our Gospel team went to Laoag to help Pastor Flor Ventura for a week of soulwinning camp until Friday night. It is just by His grace that He is using our church to be a channel of blessing. While we aspire to help other churches, may we see how we can involve in our local church. Our Daily Vacation Bible School is set next week. Let us contribute and involve in the best capacity that we can. As we pray for a great service, include that your Pastor and our Gospel Team will be a blessing to Pastor Ventura and their church today here in NBBC, Laoag. Have a Spirit-filled Sunday!

Sunday School Outline Practicality of Involvement How to Share Nehemiah 2:17-18 / Proverbs 11:30 I. The passion to win souls for Christ starts with the right perspective. A. The sorrow in hell fire must move every believer to witness to the lost. B. The splendor of heaven must motivate every believer to win the lost. C. The stipend (compensation) from the heavenly Father must make our hearts merry as we win the lost.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. 1 CORINTHIANS 3:9
II. The personnel needed to win souls for Christ must set an example to follow. A. Every frontliner must be a personal soulwinner. B. Every faithful member must be a personal soulwinner. C. Every fruitful believer must be a personal soulwinner. III. The procedure to be followed to win souls
Gospel tracts, preaching/music CDs & Sunday School/Discipleship lessons are available @ the ushers' table after the service.

for Christ is laid down in the pages of God’s word. A. We must approach them as sinners needing salvation. B. We must approach them with the attitude of a servant that is caring and compassionate. C. We must approach them through the scriptures for it is the power of God unto salvation, declaring that all are sinners; the penalty of sin is hell; Jesus Christ already paid our sins in Calvary; and they have to accept

Successful Soulwinning Conference and Leadership Training Our beloved Pastor always desires to see 1,000 independent Baptist Churches like our church that loves doing the main thing, soulwinning. While this may seem impossible, God slowly opens the door to make it happen, one church at a time. Dr. Ed, together with Mrs. Laurena and some of our church staff went to CBBC Iloilo under Pastor Ely Perez last Tuesday and Wednesday to impart ideas about different ministries. The host pastor scheduled some divided sessions in the mornings and were handled by: Dr. Ed (pastors/preachers), Mrs. Laurena (preachers’ wives), Mrs. Mishael Sibug (music), Rev. Meljun Laurena (SS teaching), Rev. Jun Garapan (ushering/security), Bro Rey Dalde (audio), Bro. Pops Villarosa (young people). Main challenges were given by Dr. Ed and Rev. Meljun Laurena. It was a blessing to see pastors and workers learning and desiring to see their church grow and be used of God greatly!

Gospel Team Goes to Laoag City! Being a part of a soulwinning church is not only a great blessing and an awesome privilege but more so, a huge responsibility of helping and influencing other churches to bear the same burden for lost souls. With this thrust, our gospel team of 30 members went to Laoag City last Monday night (April 30), to aid Northside Bible Baptist Church as they held their Soulwinning Camp last May 1-4. The sessions and challenges delivered by Preachers Jonah Rana and Dylan Bazar urged the members and other delegates from fellowshipping churches to understand the importance of soulwinning and the need for Christians’ involvement. After 4 days and 4 nights of soulwinning and evangelistic meetings, praise God for 795 souls won, 208 FTVs and 52 baptisms. God blessed the occasion more when Dr. Ed Laurena came for the last night of the event bringing with him the message which charged the members to take part in the growth of the church. The team is overwhelmed to experience the mighty hand of God working, up until today as they take the privilegeof handling NBBC’s Sunday morning service. Indeed, prayers are much in need today until they get back to San Pedro on Monday. All glory be to our God for a fun and fruitful mission exposure!

Jaimee Kate T. Espejon I praise and thank the Lord for His goodness to me. Truly, God has given me so much blessings. I am so privileged to grow up in a Christian home. I am blessed to have Christian parents who both love the Lord and care for the church. My father was the one who led me to the Lord, and I got saved at the early age of five. I thank the Lord for my parents who are always striving to do their best to raise me up to be godly, and I appreciate their sacrifices in nurturing me to be the person God wants me to be. As parents, they always desire what is best for me, and I praise God for them. I am glad that they enrolled me in the Christian Bible Baptist Academy, where I graduated last April 13. For me, such is the best school where I acquired not only academic knowledge and skills, but also and most importantly, good Christian training and biblical character education. I also thank the Lord for letting me become a member of the great church, CBBC, and for giving me great spiritual examples, my Pastor and his family. I thank the Lord for the preachings and devotions I hear during services and in Sunday School that always remind me to be an obedient Christian. I am so thankful that at my young age, I was taught to win souls for Christ. Through this, I was motivated to involve in the music ministry. I thank the Lord for the privilege to be a part of the Rondalla of our church. As a young person, I desire to grow more spiritually and to be used by God more effectively in the ministry. Please pray for me that as I pursue my studies in college, I will still continue to abide in the will of God and to fulfill His plan in my life. To God be the glory!
