from your
Pastor
“The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace” (Exodus 14:14). This is surely a triumphant assurance that we Christians can claim in our daily struggles. God is so loving, merciful, and gracious in making His power available to us since He constantly asserts through His Word His ready help, offered assistance, and mighty deliverance. Thus, we can face trials, hardships, and persecutions with courage and confidence through His strength. The best that we can do is to keep on trusting Him when we are beset with problems that bring us discomforts and inconveniences. Rather than complain and lose hope caused by our fears and despair, let us cleave to Him in faith, and cling to His stretched-out arm when afflictions, sufferings, and difficulties attack us. We must never forget that He is faithful to fulfill His rescue-promise: “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show you today” (Exodus 14:13). We thank God for letting us experience His victorious presence in our lives, especially in overcoming conflicts, contentions, and crises that pose as hindrances in our desire, decision, and determination to please the Lord while doing His will. We are also grateful to Him for warning and guarding us against those that block us in seeking first His
kingdom and His righteousness. It is only by abiding in Him that we can win against the enemies of true and biblical spirituality which test our love, service, and faithfulness to God. May the Lord find us depending on Him as we strive to combat the challenges in our prayer fervency, Bible reading, worship devotion, church attendance, soulwinning participation, ministry involvement, and mission support. By the grace of God, our successful Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) for the second week testifies of His winning ways to bring the children to the Lord and to teach them to grow in Christ. It is a delight to hear the great news of the DVBS’ results which included the many souls that got saved and were invited to our church, the supportive members that involved and were blessed, and the great impact of the activity which glorified the Lord. To all of you who had a part, I thank you, and I praise the Lord for you. Continue being active, cooperative, and supportive in the work of the Lord. Today, let us all “… give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people… sing psalms unto him: talk… of all his wondrous works” (Psalm 105:1-2).

God Can Give Us Victory
Over Suffering of Trials James 1:1-8
I. God can give us victory over suffering of trials when we count it all joy. A. Our attitude always determines our response or reaction. B. Our altitude is always based on our biblical attitude. II. God can give us victory over suffering of trials when we calculate it to produce patience in us. A. The right knowledge about the value of suffering of trials makes it possible for a believer in Christ to have a winning attitude. B. The wrong knowledge about the value of suffering of trials makes the believer in Christ to have a whining attitude. III. God can give us victory over suffering of trials when we consent to let patience have its perfect work. A. Our lack of discipline is a hindrance for patience to have its perfect work. B. Our lack of dedication is a hindrance for patience to have its perfect work. C. Our lack of determination is a hindrance for patience to have its perfect work. IV. God can give us victory over suffering of trials when we call to God for wisdom.  A. Asking God for wisdom is His will for us. B. Asking God for wisdom is well-pleasing to Him.

Psalm 78:4
Jess Sibug ang bawat tagapakinig, “What is a Home without Godly Mother?”

the Gadarene Man,” “Jesus Prayed for the Bread and the Fish,” “Mary Loves the Word of God,” “Andrew and Philip Brought People to Christ,” at “Jesus Stayed in the Temple.” Ang tema sa ikalawang taon nitong pagtuturo, “Growing in Christ” ay hango sa 2 Peter 3:18 ng King James Bible, “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our
Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
Taking Pleasure in Infirmities
"Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." - 2 Corinthians 12:10 Pleasure is defined to be a feeling of happiness, enjoyment and satisfaction. Infirmity, on the other hand, is the quality or state of being ill, especially because of old age. We then find a strong testimony of Apostle Paul when in other words he said, “I am happy to suffer and be tried!” He who “in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft (2 Cor 11:23)” amazingly found that Christianity entails with it suffering for Jesus’ sake. C.S. Lewis once noted when someone asked him, "Why do the righteous suffer?" He courageously replied, "Why not? They're the only ones who can take it." Hence, exceptional believers are those who have positive perspective towards life’s trials. GLADNESS. To him who walks close with God, trials are challenges. It excites him to be proved by God and to attest that comfort comes from Him alone. That is why Paul was able to say in 2 Corinthians 7:4 “… I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulations.” Job kept a praise-filled heart even when the permitted devil stroke him with afflictions, “the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. (Job 1:21).” In the height of the 39-degree Celsius humidity, can we still afford to smile and not curse God for such a natural occurrence? Are we thankful that on the other side of the earth, there is rain, and farmers over there benefit from it? GAIN. At times, sufferings are forms of chastisement, because we diverted from God’s ways. Nevertheless, they can still be counted gain “…knowing
that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed” (Romans 5:3-5). Victor and Mildred Goertzel studied 413 "famous and exceptionally gifted people." After years of attempting to understand what produced such greatness, the most outstanding fact was that 392 of them had to overcome very difficult obstacles in order to become who they were. What lesson have we obtained from our past financial difficulty? Did we learn the importance of going to church on Sundays after dropping our keys somewhere at the mall, and we couldn’t find it? GROWTH. Proverbs 24:10 says “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.” The job left to Joshua after the death of Moses was tremendous. He saw the struggles and difficulties of the latter in

handling the 12 tribes of Israel. The courage and the strength he took made him enjoy the victoryafter-victory feat with God and His people. God’s presence and power experienced by a believer can be wrapped up in a term called “grace.” In the sufficiency of God’s grace should a Christian grow as 2 Peter 3:18 asserts, “But grow in grace…” Imagine a patient after a series of successful chemotherapy, who can testify of the Lord’s sure working because he had been declared cancerfree! The grace that worked in him through his faith shall be the same grace that will apply in you as you face your hardest test today. Carry on, brother! These are just few of the consolations we can have as we partake in the sufferings of Christ that we may be like Him. Indeed, thanks be to God Who giveth us the victory!
“But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled...For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.”-1 Peter 3:14, 17 Ang pagtangis ay hindi lingid sa buhay ng ating Panginoong Hesukristo. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?”
but I will maintain mine own ways before him.”
Binigyang diin sa James 1:2-4 na pinatatatag ng Diyos ang ating pananampalataya, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” Inilalapit tayo ng Panginoon sa Kanyang Persona katulad ni Job sa 13:15, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:
Ating alalahaning hindi tayo nag-iisa,“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ” (2 Corinthians 1:3-5).
