Binigyan-diin ito ng Bibliya sa 2 Corinthians 2:14, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ….” Ayon sa Colossians 2:15, “…Having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Panghawakan
natin ang Kanyang patotoong nabanggit Niya sa John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Magalak tayo dahil tayong mga tunay na mananampalataya ay ipinaglalaban ng Diyos, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (I John 5:4).

God Can Give Us Victory
Over Sin Psalm 32:1-5
I. God can give us victory over sin when we conceal it not. A. There is a physical problem with concealed sins. B. There is an emotional problem with concealed sins. C. There is a spiritual problem with concealed sins. II. God can give us victory over sin when we confront it. A. God’s people must acknowledge the existence of their sins. B. God’s people must admit the extent of their sins. C. God’s people must accept the error of their sins. III. God can give us victory over sin when we confess it. A. Confession to God brings cleansing. B. Confession to God brings closeness. C. Confession to God brings consecration.

Working Single Men Visited the Mangyans It was such a tremendous opportunity for the class handled by Sir Rey Dalde to go to the CBBC Mission work in Millsite, San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro. With much excitement, twenty-three of them got their overnight bags ready last May 18 for a night travel via roll-on, roll-off transport. When they landed at the Calapan port and went through another couple of hour drive, it was true what the Bible said in Lamentations 3:51, “Mine eye affecteth mine heart.” Ushered and assisted by the Preacher Rosendo Caasi, the men took the privilege in teaching basic principles in Sunday School Teaching. About 15 Mangyan young people attended and showed interest in teaching kids for the Lord’s glory! For a bonus, they also enjoyed the beauty of nature when they had a swift dip into the river nearby the mission site. Though the trip was somehow long and tiring, it was surely worthwhile and victorious, by God’s grace. There was no dull moment for every second was reckoned to godly fellowshipping and joyful serving. To God be the glory!
Rey at Gng. Ellen Calma.

High School Summer Camp 2015 Vibrantly Held Exploring the refreshingly rural town of Candelaria, Quezon in the closing of the Summer season, about 60 high schoolers and their respective Sunday School teachers excitedly trooped to the venue last Sunday night to hold a 2-day Mission Retreat on the succeeding days May 25-26, Monday and Tuesday. On its 2nd year and in keeping with the church family's emphasis on preserving godliness and humble righteousness throughout the lives of these precious young people, the High School Sunday School department created a mini-camp program that raised mission awareness while exercising and maintaining godly fun and fellowship. With the theme “Trust God,” the camp emphasized God's Omniscience, Omnipresence, and Omnipotence to these youths and challenged them to bear the testimony of Jesus Christ in their lives, and be a blessing to the Lord's work and their respective families. Early on Monday morning, they helped to haul and move things of CBBC Candelaria mission to a new location. The main night was highlighted by a program “Talents' Night” where the teens showed their Godgiven skills in song leading, Sunday School teaching, special number and preaching. Preacher Ramir Calicdan delivered an insightful message anchored on Proverbs 12:27 exhorting the
04
students not to waste godly things that they already have by engaging in riotous living. Complementing the main preaching, the 2-day camp was infused with vibrant divided sessions’ exhortations by Rev. Duke Lumictin, Preacher Pops Villarosa, Bro. Justin Sales, and CBBM Candelaria preacher's wife, Ma'am Norilyn Calicdan. On the second day, the high schoolers enjoyed their games and activities and were likewise treated to a breezy afternoon of sun, sea, and sky at the Monte Vista Resort nearby. We appreciate the parents and guardians who allowed their teens to be a part of this blessed event. In a generation where God-centeredness is replaced by too much emphasis on worldly pursuits, our church strives and perseveres to put up programs of keeping our youth sanctified and separated, from the world, all for God’s glory. May these endeavours be richly blessed.
Original Sin
"Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." - Psalm 51:5 In our former manner of religion, we used to believe that through baptism, an infant is made free from original sin inherited from the first human beings; hence this is what is pertained to as regeneration. The baby who is a year old or even younger is said to have become a part of the Christian family. This is not what the Bible teaches. Primarily, we do not believe in baptismal regeneration. It is not the water that cleanses a person, but since then, “it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul (Leviticus 17:11).” One can only be legitimately called a Christian if by grace, through faith, he has accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour. Secondly, we view sin according to the Bible’s declaration as the “transgression of the law.” What about original sin? Contrary to how we understood original sin as that which was actually committed by Adam and Eve, original sin is but the common term which refers to the propensity or tendency to do evil. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12). King David, in the aforementioned text, confessed his original corruption. He was genuinely penitent and hid nothing of his state. He saw and bewailed, not only the acts of sin which he has committed, but the disposition that led to those acts. Being “shapen” is to be brought forth from the womb, with the warmth alluding to the whole process of the formation of the embryo. That iniquity which was said to be grown inside man’s spiritual anatomy
relates to his crookedness and being sinful in nature. Such also explains the reality in Proverbs 22:15, “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child.” Did someone teach you to tell a lie int the most artistic way? Or have you learned of anyone who can demonstrate the most strategic form of pick-pocketing? You may even wonder how a child can easily master the words of a worldly song and worse, how he can effortlessly and unconsciously utter vulgar words. It is like wondering how the worm gets inside an apple. It did not creep in from the outside. Scientists have discovered that the worm comes from inside. An insect simply lays an egg in the apple blossom. Sometime later, the worm hatches in the heart of the apple, then eats his way out. Sin, like the worm, begins in the heart and works
out through a person's thoughts, words, and actions. Though man’s depravity seems natural, David, as godly as he was, still praised God for he was “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). He still hoped that God would enable him to make good resolutions, that in the hidden part in the new man, which is called "the hidden man of the heart" (1 Peter 3:4), he would make him to know wisdom, so as to discern and avoid the designs of the tempter another time. God gives wisdom for us to know how to deal with our sinfulness and that we may allow godliness, as being a real Christian, to come out. Thus, we may say, “…in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom” (Psalm 51:6); and thank God “…which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57). 05
Ikaw Ba Ay Isang Pakawala?
“For sin shall not have dominion over you; for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
risen with Christ...” Hindi lang tayo binigyan ng kapayapaan kundi ibinangon pa tayo kasama ng kay Kristong pagkalibing, “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins” Ephesians 2:1. “...Behold, I make all things new...” ang kamangha-manghang inusal ng ating Tagapagligtas sa Revelation 21:5. Binigyan tayo ng isang panibagong simula kasama Niya at ang katiyakan Niya sa John 17:21-22, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they may also be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest
me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.”
Triumphing In The Lord Is Very Possible Beata B. Agustin Triumphing in the Lord is very possible because of His mercy When we willingly offer ourselves to Him thru His clemency. Let’s keep on trusting Him and His help’s constancy For He’s our Father Who loves us, blessing our prayer-fervency So we can overcome the adversary’s poverty attacks against our satisfied sufficiency! Triumphing in the Lord is very possible because of His protection When we dependently yield ourselves to Him with our sincere subjection. Let’s keep on following Him and His authority’s commission For He’s our Lord Who controls us, subjugating our disobedience-insubordination So we can face the detractor’s hurled confusion regarding our eternal salvation! Triumphing in the Lord is very possible because of His deliverance When we wholly lay ourselves to Him along His assurance. Let’s keep on seeking Him and His favor’s appearance For He’s our Guide Who leads us, correcting our unbelief-ignorance So we can stand against the enemy’s enslaving lies upon our biblical truth’s temperance! Triumphing in the Lord is very possible because of His security When we joyfully surrender ourselves to Him with our acknowledged inability. Let’s keep on clinging to Him and His Word’s certainty For He’s our Shield Who guards us, hiding our feebleness-vulnerability So we can vanquish the foe’s inflicted doubts on our heaven-bound spirituality! Triumphing in the Lord is very possible because of His might When we earnestly give ourselves to Him for His delight. Let’s keep on abiding in Him and His will’s light For He’s our Strength Who empowers us, stretching our faith’s performance-height So we can win over the rival’s arrogant jealousy toward our pursuits that are gloriously right! Triumphing in the Lord is very possible because of His defense When we fully bring ourselves to Him with our repentance devoid of any pretense. Let’s keep on staying in Him and His fellowship’s presence For He’s our Saviour Who forgives us, disciplining our misbehavior-offense So we can combat the opponent’s evil strongholds with our diligent service-persistence! Triumphing in the Lord is very possible because of His grace When we humbly submit ourselves to Him according to His assigned Christian race. Let’s keep on esteeming Him and His name’s worship-praise For He’s our Life Who upholds us, sustaining our commitment-brace So we can persevere over the contender’s insulting jeers amidst our admitted weakness’ trace! 07
