Victorious Christian Living in our FREEDOM "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday."
Psalm 37:4-6

(Freedom to Commit)
W
HAT A GREAT DELIGHT to know that God created us with the ability and freedom to make our own choices. He gave us our own thought, will and emotion. Yet, because of sin, many have mistakenly practiced the true meaning of freedom. We must be reminded that right and biblical freedom is our liberty to do that which is right in God’s sight, and not to do what we ourselves want to do. It is having freedom to serve God and reject sin, and freedom to do God’s will and reject Satan’s temporal offer. With that, victorious Christian life is really possible! Meanwhile, I am glad to hear about the victory of Fathers’ Sunday last week. It is so inspiring to learn that there are still fathers who have a desire to be right, to serve God and to lead their families to the Lord. Also, I commend those who involved in the Youth Revival last June 20. Praise the Lord for your faithfulness. Finally, as God gives me more opportunities to travel here in US, I realize more how blessed our country, specifically our church is. Sadly, we very seldom see here the passion and zeal that churches should have for souls. It seems that many Americans are now more focused on self and material things that they have set God aside. I pray that God would keep that revival in our church and in every Christian. Please do continue to pray for us as we travel and as I preach here. I really miss the church, and I appreciate your love for God and His work. DR. ED M. LAURENA PAGE 02 | JUNE 26 | ACTS 29
I. The believers’ freedom to commit is tested through heartwarming (cheerful) obedience. A. Our commitment to God involves personal separation. B. Our commitment to God includes privileged substances. C. Our commitment to God incorporates principal (the most important) surrender. II. The believers’ freedom to commit will be tried by hellish (tormenting) oppositions. A. Abram’s freedom to exercise his faith through commitment was opposed by his limited days. B. Abram’s freedom to exercise his faith through commitment was opposed by limiting distance. C. Abram’s freedom to exercise his faith through commitment was opposed by limitless darkness. III. The believers’ freedom to commit will be triumphant through heavenly opportunities. A. Abraham experienced God’s promises of provision through the commitment of his faith. B. Abraham enjoyed God’s presence of protection through the commitment of his faith. C. Abraham entered God’s place of peace through the commitment of his faith.
“
I have now concentrated all my prayers into one, and that one prayer is this, that I may die to self, and live wholly to him.

A man’s true value consists in his likeness to God. What gives value to his thoughts, his feelings, and his actions is the extent to which they are inspired by God, the extent to which they express the thought, the will, and the acts of God. - Paul Tournier

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

ACTS 29 | JUNE 26 | PAGE 03
by Sis. PAGE 04 | JUNE 26 | ACTS 29
Commitment He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep Commitment to gain what he cannot lose. Jesus did not say, “Come to me and get it over with.” He said, “If any man would come after me, let him take up his cross daily and follow me.” Daily is the key word. Our commitment to Christ, however genuine and wholehearted it may be today, must be renewed tomorrow . . . and the day after that . . . and the day after that . . . until the path comes at last to the river.
Commitment
Say, “Yes,” Son. I need your yes as I needed Mary’s yes to come Commitment to earth, For it is I who must do your work, it is I who must
live in your family, it is I who must be in your neighborhood, and not you. For it is my look that penetrates, and not yours; my words that carry weight, and not yours; my life that transforms, and not yours. Give all to me, abandon all to me. I need your yes to be united with you and to come down to earth, I need your yes to continue saving the world.
Commitment
Thine am I, I was born for thee, What wouldst thou, Master, make of me? Give me death or give me life Give health or give infirmity Give honor or give obloquy Give peace profound or daily strife, Weakness or strength add to my life; Yes, Lord, my answer still shall be What wilt thou, Master, have of me?
Commitment
Tomorrow I keep for God. Today I give to God.
Commitment
What does God require? Everything!

"To take all that we are and have and hand it over to God may not be easy; but it can be done, and when it is done, the world has in it one less candidate for misery." "Before the judgment seat of Christ my service will not be judged by how much I have done but by how much of me there is in it. No man gives at all until he has given all. No man gives anything acceptable to God until he has first given himself in love and sacrifice."

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
