Nehemiah 4:14-23 / 1Corinthians 15:58

I. God’s strength can make us steadfast to serve the King of kings. A. It takes a humble heart to recognize the right place to serve God. B. God instituted His Church, the right place of service. C. Our Church is the right place to serve God together. D. Our Church is the right place to stay serving God together . II. God’s strength can make us steadfast to sacrifice for the Lord of lords. A n g angklang ito ng pag-asa ay magdudulot sa atin ng kalakasan at pirmihang katatagan ayon sa Hebrews 6:19, “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul,

both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil”.

In my Father's house are many mansions… I go to prepare a place for you... I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2,3). We have an Anchor that keeps the soul, steadfast and sure while the billows roll, Fastened to the Rock which cannot move; grounded firm and deep in the Saviour’s love.”

"Bring Your Classmates" Sunday Perked Up Junior's Sunday School Perked with God’s joy as strength, the Juniors' Department launched its first themed Sunday with "Bring Your Classmates" Sunday last July 5. Aiming to spark enthusiasm and interest for a regular Sunday School, this program brought school supplies and goodies as rewards to the top three pupils who brought the "Most Number of Guests." Despite heavy rains, the Junior Church gathered about 400 attendees and 51 guests. The teachers gave prizes of notebooks, supplies, and sweets to winning coupons given to each student. Souvenir pictures were also taken to capture moments of great fellowship with the old-time students and the new converts and guests. Highlighting the event was an exhortation given by Bro. Justin Sales. The children, being young witnesses of Christ, were encouraged to proclaim salvation to the lost, while the visitors were admonished to avoid hell's eternal fire by trusting Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord. It was truly a well-delivered sermon illustrated by a literal fire as an object lesson. The occasion has been made possible through God's might, enabling the team for a concerted effort and the sponsors’ cooperative heart in the giving ministry. May the Lord be glorified and His servants be richly blessed.

Shifting On But Not Moving On

“For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.”-Colossians 2:5 Despite a rigorous Jewish upbringing and a very serious commitment to the Law, holiness, and moral conformity, Saul of Tarsus who would later become the Apostle Paul wrote some of the most descriptive, and relevant words in the Bible pertaining to human experience. In Romans Chapter 7, he expressly described the tension between wanting or desiring the right or the good but ends up actually doing the wrong thing. It is a very dramatic and powerful picture of internal struggle, of wrestling with a real power, with being overcome by something greater, something more demanding and something he does not want. There is an incessant pressing enemy from within and without that actively hinders us from steadfastness...creating a sense of helplessness that leads to despair: except for the good news. There is a Deliverer, there is an Answer, there is a Strength. We have the Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ Who wants us to focus on our Charity, Consistency, and Continuity. CONSISTENCY
