Church In Action

From the Pastor’s Desk

S we conclude this month’s theme on revival through healthy relationships, let us check our personal relationship with God. Helping us in our self-evaluation is the assessment of our personal devotional life. Are we getting revived through our consistent devotional life? As your Pastor, I am praying that all of us will be able to enjoy our relationship with the Lord while experiencing the blessings of a consecrated and devoted life for the Saviour. We must then get back on our knees, asking for revival, getting power from regular devotions of daily prayer, study of God’s word, and spiritual singing. As such, let us have constant appointments with God as David did in Psalm 55:17, and as Daniel practiced in Daniel 6:10. The more we spend time talking and walking with God, the more we get excited for the things of heaven. Moreover, let us maintain a close communion with the Lord as we are led by His Holy Spirit in ministering to others, in winning souls, in participating in church activities, and in supporting our area Bible studies. Praise God that He works closer to those who also work and walk closer to Him as evidenced by our triumphant activities this past week. Through God’s power, let us draw nigh to Him for a victorious week ahead, all for His glory and honour.

Sunday School Outlined The Church Engages to Maintain Personal Devotion Psalm 27:7-8; 55:17; 92:1-2 Isaiah 40:29-31 / Daniel 6:10

I. Maintaining personal devotion safeguards our spiritual adrenaline. A. Spiritual adrenaline is what keeps our spiritual appetite intact. B. Spiritual adrenaline for the Lord’s work is what every Christian needs. II. Maintaining personal devotion shields us from spiritual heart attack. A. A life without “personal devotion” is most likely to invite spiritual heart attack.

B. A life without “personal devotion” is most likely to incur spiritual heart attack. III. Maintaining personal devotion shelters us from spiritual aging. A. Christians who are fed up are not prayed up. B. Praying and Bible reading are best anti-aging practices. IV. Maintaining personal devotion secures in us the Spirit’s approval. A. A life that maintains a pattern of devotion will definitely be led by the Spirit of God. B. The Spirit’s approval is upon a life that maintains a personal walk.

“ANO ANG KALAGAYAN NG UGNAYAN MO SA PANGINOON?” Beata B. Agustin

area 28

Bro. Jairo Imbuido

All glory belongs to God for what he has done, what He is doing, and for what He will do in Area 28. Our Area covers Balibago (left side), Mabuhay, Dita, and Golden City. It is our privilege to be able to serve our Lord and Saviour with the precious families and members He has entrusted to us. It is solely by God’s grace that our Area averages 60-70 members weekly. In a month, we average 25-30 first time visitors, 2-3 baptisms, and most importantly, 280-320 souls won. Our Area loves the work of the Lord! We also thank God that our Area is made up of faithful families who are willing to serve and sacrifice for God. There is not enough room to write down all the blessings God has given to us as an Area. Moreover, we praise God for the increase in attendance, the involvement of committed members, and the spiritual growth of the believers in the Area, which are harvests resulting from many hours of labour and love. God truly is good all the time, and He has shown His goodness abundantly towards our Area. Thanks to God for our salvation, our workers, our Pastor, and our Church. Of a surety, all praise and glory belong to God! PAGE 04 | JULY 25 | ACTS 29

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
