Church In Action
From the Pastor’s Desk
OD answers prayer. He assures us that when we call unto Him, He responds to us. In our August theme, “Revive us again through our humble prayer life,” we are exhorted to be in constant communication with the Lord. This is a good practice we ought to do for our power that leads to our victory. We are blessed to have timely Sunday School lessons that clearly explain the biblical essence and the doctrinal aspect of each of the details of our Church Covenant. I believe that these lessons have helped and are assisting us in our spiritual growth. With this, I urge all of us to value our Sunday School classes by our weekly attendance to study the lessons, and by our daily performance of the principles we have learned. Today’s lesson reminds us that biblical training must begin in the home of every believing Christian. This calls for the vital role and the extreme functional responsibility of parents in the nurture and admonition of the children in the home using the Bible as the guide. Let us all be willing to learn from God through His Word as we involve ourselves in His work, especially in the area of winning souls for His glory.

“LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY” Beata B. Agustin
Lord, teach us to pray according to Your will Not insisting our stubbornness along arrogance-hill… Help us whom You’ve granted Your redemption bill To humble at Your throne of mercy where we keep still In obtaining grace on how Your plan to fulfill. Lord, teach us to pray in Your name Not doubting Your promises we should claim… Help us whom You’ve rescued in our pitiful frame To confess our acknowledged sin and shame In submitting our needs to Your provision’s fame. Lord, teach us to pray for Your glory Not coveting any honor nor entertaining worry… Help us whom You’ve raised by Your victory To lift up to You praises we carry In pursuing for a holy life story. Teach us to pray thru Your Spirit Not ignoring Your might for our faith’s summit… Help us whom You’ve made heaven-fit To rely on Your Word’s perfect wit In having our service-aims fully hit. Lord, teach us to pray with Your guidance Not banking on feeble and failing self-endurance… Help us whom You’ve called with assurance To yield to You against carnal resistance In subduing foes thru Your divine assistance. Lord, teach us to pray by Your way Not leaning on our understanding’s ray… Help us whom You’ve ransomed with Your blood’s pay To depend on Your wisdom without delay In overcoming problems we face everyday. Lord, teach us to pray along Your goodness Not frustrating deliberately Your loving kindness… Help us whom You’ve blessed with Your graciousness To bow down to You with humbleness In worshipping You in Your truthfulness. area 12
Rev. Rey Calma
Thanks be to God for what He has done in Area 12! Our area, the Area 12, is comprised of barangays within both cities of Biñan and Sta. Rosa. Within the city of Biñan are Barangays Malaban, San Antonio, San Vicente, Platero, and Sto. Niño. Within the city of Sta. Rosa is Barangay Tagapo. By simply following the program of our Pastor, Dr. Ed M. Laurena, our Area is being blessed by the Lord. Through His grace, we are conducting our regular soul-winning and house-to-house visitation endeavours. With such constant practice, Area 12 has been able to establish a Bible Study Center, which is existing for almost three years. Now, a new Home Bible Study Center in Celina Homes 5, near the boundary of two cities, Biñan and Sta. Rosa, has been opened, ready to win more souls for the Lord. We are excited in the Area because most of the members, young and old alike, are involved in the activities. There are also families that have been added in the membership, who have been fruits from the Daily Vacation Bible School, conducted a few months ago. In case you have friends, relatives, and acquaintances within our area of responsibility that you wish to win for the Lord, please do not hesitate to approach yours truly, Bro. Rey Calma. Ayon sa Biblia, Iisa Lamang ang Daan Patungong Langit!
A
4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
