“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower” (Psalm 18:2). That is a very-well expressed declaration acknowledging God’s protecting role, power, and authority in one’s life. A real bornagain believer who has a vibrant personal relationship with Christ can likewise exclaim such with courage and cheerfulness. We thank God that in His perfect will, we as His children are surely protected, mightily guarded, and absolutely upheld. Of course, we are safe and secured not because of our own capacity, but because we are delivered and defended by the sovereign Lord Himself. We then must always abide in Him, realizing that without Him, we are worthless, and we can do nothing (John 15:5). Along with this knowledge should also be the understanding that if we go away from God’s blessed will, we are endangering ourselves; since distancing our lives from His protection means exposing ourselves to destruction. May we be humble to yield to His beseeching, by His mercies, to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto Him, which is our reasonable

service, according to Romans 12:1. Furthermore, let us strive to be transformed by the renewing of our minds as we persevere to respond to His Word with readiness. Meanwhile, we give the Lord our praises for His continual protection for us in our individual pursuits, in our family activities, and in our church endeavors. Amidst struggles, hardships, burdens, problems which pose as challenges, and even hindrances to our victories, we are grateful that we have God as our Protector, Deliverer, and Defender. Let us constantly seek Him with faith; thus we must never neglect our prayer and Bible reading, as well as our church involvement for triumphant worship, joyful fellowship, and faithful stewardship for His honor and glory. Altogether, let us stay in His will’s protection as we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and help fulfill His Great Commission. By the grace of God, let us serve Him as a church inside His will of protection, for He as Psalm 144:2 asserts is our goodness, fortress, high tower, deliverer, shield whom we must trust.

God Can Put Us In His Will

There is Protection in His will 1John 2:15-17

I. God can give the believers protection from worldliness through His will. A. The world is a great threat for a believer to do God’s will. B. The Lord is the great helper for believers to do God’s will. II. God can give the believers protection from wastefulness through His will. A. Our talents and toil will not be wasted in His will. B. Our time and treasures will not be wasted in His will. III. God can give the believers protection from wilderness through His will. A. There is no fruit in the wilderness. B. There is fruitfulness in the will of God.

CBBC-San Pedro Soulwinners Supported Evangelistic Meeting in Tagaytay Christian Bible Baptist Mission – Tagaytay, the youngest mission work of CBBC, has marked September 3, 2015, Thursday, with a breakthrough in their ministry by holding an Evangelistic Meeting. At around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, Preacher Jerry Villasanta gave the opening remarks, joyfully charging and preparing the hearts of about 60 soulwinners from supporting CBBC churches such as Antipolo, Dasmariñas Outreach, Los Baños, Manila, Sta. Cruz and San Pedro including the two Gospel Teams, Matthew and Mark, who are composed of Bible Students. sheaves with them, thus, tagged as their First Time Visitors.

While waiting for the rain to stop, the group spent the time in praying and singing while others extended their hands to complete the preparations. They were then divided into three teams to saturate the neighbourhood with the gospel and compel everybody to come to the preaching service. Every moment was engaged in witnessing to people and knocking on every door. As they trod back to the mission house after an hour and a half, the soulwinners brought their 04

The service proper began with lively singing followed by a testimony from a member. By the end of the preaching of the Word which was delivered by Preacher Villasanta himself, 30 souls got saved. Furthermore, Dr. Ed Laurena, gave an encouraging message to the members even to those who allowed themselves to be used by God in making the event a great victory by His grace. Consequently, everybody had fun fellowshipping one with another over the provided snacks. It may have been tiring but surely it was joyous as the soulwinners went back to their churches with another great testimony of God’s faithfulness. All glory is the Lord’s!

Alam nilang ang Panginoon ay nangunguna sa kanila, “O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah” (Ps 68:7). Hindi inalis ng Panginoon ang ulap at apoy na naging gabay at proteksyon nila sa araw at gabi, “And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and

by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night” (Exo 13:21). And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left” (Exo 14:22). Mapatutunayan natin ang Kanyang pangako sa Hebrews 13:5, “...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me (Ps 23:4).”

What Is Protecting You? Is It God's Will Or Yours?

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”- Psalms 91:1-2 On an otherwise beautiful Saturday morning, many Americans were utterly shocked by live television images of the space shuttle, Columbia, disintegrating before their very eyes during its final approach to a landing at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Grief-stricken by that accident, a pastor in Colorado was searching for insight into the meaning of the promises in Psalms 91—urgent in light of the death of Columbia's Mission Commander, Rick Husband, who openly professed faith in Christ. However, the issue went beyond that isolated event to the suffering and death of countless other believers throughout history. In moments similar to this, even the choicest of God's people are bound to ask, “Can we really trust God's protection?” A PROTECTED PAST. The life and testimony of Moses in the pages of the Bible is a record focusing richly about what God did for Israel in the past as highlighted in Exodus 14:13-14, “And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today; for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Because the children of Israel and their God-appointed leaders were God's chosen people, friends of Israel were friends of God, and enemies of Israel were enemies of God. God's enemies are those who love themselves more than God—those who refuse and reject the Gift of God in His Son, Jesus Christ. Throughout the Old Testament accounts in the King James Bible when God dealt with His chosen people, He did reveal His protection and orchestration of events for His children against enemies who would seek to do them harm. 06

As we see our protected past in the pages of God's proclaimed Word, we see our preserved present.

present, we see o u r promising path in the future.

A PRESERVED PRESENT. If truth be told, we are much more concerned about having God on our side to protect our own interest and reputation than we are about being on God's side, seeking after His glory and ultimate victory. God has not promised to protect us from such; what He has promised is protection from the ultimate enemy which is sin—which, through Christ, no longer has the power to enslave or determine a believer's eternal destiny. We can entrust ourselves to this righteous and all-powerful God Who has gone through the lengths of the Cross to protect us from an enemy that seeks to alienate us from Himself, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). As we see our preserved

A PROMISING PATH IN THE FUTURE. Gleaning through just a few of the promising Scriptures penned by the Psalmist in chapter 91:14-16, “Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him...with long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation,” we are assured a protection from sin's judgment. Since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Jesus Christ, we are protected from an ultimate death penalty in hell...and assured of Heaven's glory. We then should never have the audacity to harbor resentment that God has not protected us, since He has paid the ultimate price so that we be protected from the judgment we sorely deserve. We must instead thank Him for His everready protection, as we fully submit to His will.
