DR. ED M. LAURENA

While many Christians aspire to obey the will of God, many have overlooked that God’s will comes also in God’s time. Whether it be a financial provision, salvation of a loved one or other prayer requests we make that seem to be delayed, God’s will is always on time. We must have a humble attitude and a proper perspective that as we wait for God’s perfect timing, He is teaching us many things that we need, including important principles for character-development and faith-strengthening. We must never get ahead of God’s plan, because He definitely knows when to answer. Meanwhile, God has given me the privilege to visit some churches and missions these past two weeks in Negros and Iloilo provinces. Indeed, it is a blessing to see some thriving churches and hardworking pastors doing the best they can in the mission field God has placed them. On the other hand, it is challenging that we need to do more as some churches have been cold in their main purpose of reaching people. I pray that God will continue to use us here and to other churches as an encouragement as well. Let us pray that God will work in our hearts today!

ur 1st and 2nd year High School Girls are praising and thanking God for the privelege to be a part of this great church wherein they are taught and trained to live according to His Word. Our first year High School Girls class under Ma'am Cristina Alvior has 35-45 students, like that of the second year class of Ma'am Medelyn Espinosa. Meanwhile, about 15-25 of our 1st and 2nd High School girls return in the afternoon and join our divided class fellowship where we regularly conduct at the second floor of the New Bldg. Every meeting, our 1st and 2nd year High School girls have a privelege to lead the sunday school program that will help them to be responsible. They also have a Campus ministry that encourages them to win souls in their schools amidst their busy schedule like sports nights, talents nights, group fellowships, class fellowships and their awaited Field trip this coming October 15, 2013 that will be held in Tagaytay. Furthermore, thay are so blessed for having a loving church that cares for them and their future.

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
