"I MUST PARTNER AS A SOULWINNER WITH THE MISSIONARIES WHO INVOLVE IN WORLD MISSIONS."
PARTNERS IN INVOLVEMENT
Being the last Sunday of the month, today brings us to the conclusion of our Sunday School lesson on Partnership of Involvement. We should realize that for the ministry to expand, it needs more than just one person, since it requires teamwork with people who have a heart for God. For a mission work to increase and grow, it needs more than just the missionaries, because it demands involvement on our part. As God allows us to be a part of a Biblepreaching church, let us work together as a team through our giving and going to see more souls saved. Meanwhile, our Missions Conference, which we have prayed and prepared for several months, is all set starting Tuesday night. I appreciate that many of you have already settled this in your schedule. The music, testimonies, fellowship and the preaching of God’s Word will certainly bless our hearts. Be in prayer for the safe arrival of visiting guests, the empowerment of the speakers, the working of the Holy Spirit and the success of the conference. Let us be a blessing to our church and to every delegate that will attend. Most of all, may our hearts be spiritually prepared in receiving truths and be readily humble in obeying them. I know that God has in store for us something that will widen our vision for missions! As God’s Word speaks to us today, may we have a revived spirit for our Missions Conference!

verybody must work to evangelize the sinners, edify the saints, and exalt the Saviour. This is always the stirring charge of Dr. Ed Laurena whenever he preaches to us. The said challenge is now driving our Baptist Youth Campus Ministry (BYCM) workers and members to do their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. With the heart of obedience, they conducted classroom evangelism at Pedro E. Diaz High School (PEDHS) in MuntinlupaE last October 22 and 23 (Monday and Tuesday). A total of 1,273 students came to know and accept Jesus W as their Lord and personal Saviour through Gospel-oriented lessons entitled “Two Deaths and Two Births” S and “The Value of Life.” According to the BYCM workers, though teaching high school students about N God is not that easy because their hearts are hardened by humanistic philosophies and filled with worldly cravings which make their minds unaware of the truth about the Bible, God is all-powerful to save and E convert them. With such experience, the youth ministers themselves were thankful, amazed and revivedW S as they testified on the greatness of God.

3 TYPES OF GIVERS FLINT to get anything out of it you must hammer it, and even then you only get chips and sparks

SPONGE to get anything out of it you must squeeze it hard, because the more you squeeze a sponge, the more you get HONEYCOMB just overflows with its own sweetness That is how God gives to us, and it is how we should give in turn.
"God has given us two hands - one to receive with and the other to give with. We are not cisterns made for hoarding; we are channels made for sharing."
And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

N RECENT DAYS, we have seen the decline in the economic climate around the world. T T This decline has been felt by many, if not all, at one LI S level or another. Situations such as this give the I W HEN THERE Christian the opportunity to exercise great faith with regard to our giving. Mark 12:41-44 relates the well-known story of the “widow’s mite.” In this passage of Scripture Jesus observed “how the people cast money into the treasury” (vs. 41). He observed how “many that were rich cast in much.” He then took special note of the poor widow woman who “threw in two mites.” Monetarily speaking, her gift was insignificant compared to those who had cast in “much,” yet Jesus called His disciples over to instruct them on the true value of her gift. He explained how “she of her want did cast in all that she had.” (emphasis added) Though she lacked financially, she still found a way to give to God. What a great example of love for the Lord expressed by sacrificial giving! Difficult financial times can put the Christian to the test when it comes to giving. We may have been used to giving of our abundance when now, because of financial difficulties, we are required to give of our want. When we give of our want, we can be assured that the Lord takes special notice of our desire to please Him. L

DoesItHurt?
W
HEN YOU GO TO A DOCTOR for your annual check-up, he or she will often begin to poke, prod, and press various places, all the while asking, “Does this hurt? How about this?” If you cry out in pain, one of two things has happened. Either the doctor has pushed too hard, without the right sensitivity. Or, more likely, there’s something wrong, and the doctor will say, “We’d better do some more tests. It’s not supposed to hurt there!” So it is when pastors preach on financial responsibility, and certain members cry out in discomfort, criticizing the message and the messenger. Either the pastor has pushed too hard. Or perhaps there’s something wrong. In that case, I say, “My friend, we’re in need of the Great Physician, because it’s not supposed to hurt there.”
