“ ” Revive us through our Hard Work

"Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest." Ecclesiastes 9:10

From the Pastor’s Desk

V

ICTORY is always a result of God’s hand coupled with our hard work. We cherish many spiritual blessings today because somebody decided to give his best effort yesterday. Thus, if we want to enjoy more victories in the future, same principle will still follow. God must see that we put in our labour so He will bless us. As I emphasize more on hard work this month, I pray that every member would realize its importance. We and our family members will enjoy more revival from God if we will strive hard. Yes, there will be struggles, but our intense effort to win over them will bring about victory from God. This is one great reason why I challenge you to be faithful in our church and its activities. Our Missions Conference is getting nearer, and I am getting more excited to see the revival that God will send. I encourage you to get involved and to attend every service. It will surely be a blessing to hear pastors and missionaries being used of God. Meanwhile, please pray as I minister to our outreach in Taiwan for few days. Together with Pastor Rudy Calayan and my wife, I would also like to challenge them to be co-labourers in supporting missions. God would surely be pleased if He knows that we are doing our responsibility to get the Gospel to the lost. Finally, I pray that God would use His word to minister to your spiritual needs today! May we continually desire to learn and grow more. Have a great Sunday!

Church In Action

In these last 9 days of preparation, let us be more fervent in our prayers through our 24-hour round d’ clock prayer. Let us set aside the said dates and attend the evening services and the morning sessions. Let us support this event and be a blessing to the pastors and missionaries who are coming.

The Church Engages to Watch Over One Another by Remembering Each Other in Prayer 2 Thessalonians 1:11 / James 5:13-20 I. Watching over one another by remembering each other in prayer will straighten up those who are crooked. A. Prayer for the brethren is seriously needed since we all are still in our sinful Adamic nature. B. Prayer for the brethren is significantly necessary since we all struggle in this sin-sick and corrupt environment. C. Prayer for the brethren is strictly the number one in the list of importance since we all must subdue Satan the accuser. II. Watching over one another by remembering each other in prayer will smooth down those who are curved. A. Believers in Christ have the same problems they encounter.

B. Believers in Christ have the same principles of God’s word for their encouragement. C. Believers in Christ have the same Person with His power for them to enjoy. III. Watching over one another by remembering each other in prayer will strengthen those who are about to collapse. A. Relationships that are ready to collapse are strengthened by prayers. B. Relationships that remain to construct are supported by prayers. IV. Watching over one another by remembering each other in prayer will solidify those who are crumbling. A. Faith of God’s people is reinforced by prayers. B. Faithfulness of God’s people is refreshed by prayers.

“PAMANA NG DIYOS SA AKIN NA KANYANG PINAGHIRAPAN ” Beata B. Agustin

Area 20/Division A6 Bro. Rey Dalde

Area 20 started in 2002 when our Pastor, Dr.Ed M. Laurena, decided to divide Area 5 into two areas. Currently, Area 20 is under San Pedro Group (Division A-6). It began with only a handful of members; but now, by the grace of God, Area 20 averages about 60 – 70 members regularly attending on a Sunday morning service and about 30 members on a Sunday evening service. On a weekly basis, God blesses A-20 with an average of four first time visitors and one baptism with twelve to fifteen soulwinners and sixty souls won. Area-20 is located west side of the Laguna and Muntinlupa boundary. It stretches from Puregold Shopping Center in San Pedro Town Center, to Tibagan houses along Magsaysay Road, then to Southridge and up to South Peak Subdivision. It also includes Reaville Subdivision, La Marea Subdivision, Villa Ricardo Subdivision and Camella Woodhills Subdivision. We then enjoin you, brethren, to refer to us your friends or relatives living in this Area so we can visit them. Our Area motto is “Have a 20/20 vision for the lost” and our goal is to have 100 regular Sunday morning attendance before our tenth year as an area. To God be the glory!

Family Testimony First of all, I praise and thank God for giving me and my wife the privilege to serve Him as full-time workers. God has entrusted us with multiple ministries through our Pastor where we can joyfully serve the Lord. Likewise, I delight in God for being so gracious that He has blessed us with two children, Charmaine and Anjen. Right now, our eldest, Charmaine is studying in our Bible College, while Anjen is studying in our Christian Academy. As a family, we are so privileged to be a part of this blessed church where we are taught biblical principles so we can live for God by His grace. Lastly, I want to thank our Pastor and his family for giving us the right example in serving the Lord faithfully. We are looking forward to the realization of the vision of our Pastor that someday we will have our own Baptist City. To God be the glory! ACTS 29 | NOVEMBER 21 | PAGE 05

“The leading rule for a man of every calling is diligence; never put off until tomorrow what you can do today.” -Abraham Lincoln

Ayon sa Biblia, Iisa Lamang ang Daan Patungong Langit!

A

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
