Church In Action
From the Pastor’s Desk
A
FTER months of prayer and preparation, I am excited for our upcoming Missions Conference starting Tuesday night. I am looking forward to what God will do in this event. I pray that every member will attend every service, be challenged to involve through missions, and that God would call more into fulltime service. This is also a great opportunity to be a blessing to the pastors, missionaries and visiting delegates. Help me to encourage these delegates by making them feel welcome in our church. I would personally appreciate your support for this event through your prayers, participation and presence. The labor you would contribute would be surely blessed by God. Our monthly theme of hard work is directly related to our big event this week, because missions and souls would never be successful without hard work. I thank God that there were hard working people and pastors who took time to share with me the plan of salvation, and mentored me in the ministry. God be praised for the hard-working members who involve themselves for the salvation of the lost, for the growth of the church and for the planting of more churches. May we continue to be labourers for the cause of Christ! As we gather in church today, may we have an intent heart to listen to God’s Word and enjoy a wonderful Christian fellowship. Have a Spirit-filled Sunday!
Be a part of this important event in our church. Let us be challenged from the preaching and the fellowship. Be a blessing to the visiting pastors, missionaries and guests. Remember, this conference is for you. Be there for the opening night, Tuesday, 6:30 pm.

“OUR GREAT HERITAGE WROUGHT THRU HARD WORK” Beata B. Agustin
We have a great heritage thru the Lord… That’s His salvation by His grace He alone can afford With eternal life of pardon’s security according to His Word And glorious name along precious inheritance assured by His record. We have a great heritage thru the patriarchs of old times… That’s the faith of Abraham and Noah reverberating in heavenly chimes With Job and Joseph’s confidence in the Redeemer declared beyond poet’s rhymes And Moses and Joshua’s trust surpassing riches that can’t be paid with treasures’ dimes. We have a great heritage thru the brave prophets of the ages… That’s the fervency of Isaiah to bear witness of the light despite challenges With the persistency of Jeremiah midst various accusations of pretending sages And the courage of Daniel to stand for what’s right against false and foolish charges. We have a great heritage thru the kings in their spirituality… That’s the submissiveness of David along his raiment of royalty With the obedience of Josiah that covers his royal garb of authority And the humility of Hezekiah clothing his dignified stature’s tenacity. We have a great heritage thru the apostles’ devotion… That’s the fire of the Holy Ghost empowering Peter’s divine action With the zeal of John the Beloved in following the Saviour’s instruction And the readiness of Paul to preach the Gospel despite attacking persecution. We have a great heritage thru the loyalty of the early church leaders… That’s the faithfulness of Stephen until facing death brought by wicked orders With the leadership of Philip with the Spirit’s guidance around His will’s borders And the perseverance of preachers in proclaiming God’s truth against evil that hinders. We have a great heritage thru the martyrs’ steadfastness… That’s the conviction of John the Baptist overcoming trials’ fierceness With the sacrifices of the Hebrews 11 Heroes of faith offered with willingness And the valor of the spiritual forefathers to uphold Bible-standards’ distinctiveness.

Area 6/Division A3 Bro. Dylan Bazar
Area 6 is absolutely situated within San Pedro, Laguna, as it specifically covers Brgy. Nueva and Brgy. San Vicente, but definitely excludes Pacita 1. I thank God because He has given me the opportunity to lead this Area with church members who are not only faithful but also committed in serving the Lord through the church. Area 6 is composed of 140-160 individual members, most of whom comprise approximately 30 families who are attending every Sunday. With God’s commission and through our Pastor’s leadership, we in Area 6 are continually winning souls. By God’s grace, 25-30 area members are involving every week, and as a result, an average of 100 souls are won to the Lord. Likewise, we are blessed by the Lord with regular Bible studies in Cardinal St., Pacita 2 and in Southview Subdivision. We thank God as well for giving us members who are called to serve in the different ministries of the church: 8 in Sunday School ministry (5 in Children’s Department, 2 in Young People and Adults, 1 in Deaf and Mute); 7 in the Choir ministry; 5 in the Ushering ministry; and 5 in the Bible School (2 new students, 3 old students). We praise God for these 20 frontliners who are faithfully performing their God-entrusted ministries. As an Area, we also find fellowship through our prayers. We praise God that through our weekly prayer vigil on Thursdays and prayer covenant on Saturdays, we experience His constant work in building our lives and in reviving our faith as we strive to work for God’s glory.
Family Testimony “ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17 We praise and thank our heavenly Father for the gift of salvation He gave to me and my wife. Through the soul winning efforts of the members of CBBC, I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour in 1996. My wife Mylene got saved in 1983. This great gift of salvation also opened many doors of blessings and privileges to us. It is with great delight to testify that back then, my wife and I were happy singles serving the Lord in various ministries, trusting God, knowing that our future is in His hands. It was in October of 2006, while in our late thirties, that the Lord made us into a family. He blessed us right away with two wonderful kids, Lois Faith (now 3 years old) and Ray Hope (now 11 months old). By God’s grace, we continue serving Him joyfully as frontliners and full time workers of our church. This upcoming World Mission Conference, we are very excited because we will once again hear messages about missions and see many missionaries come to our church. Since 2006, we as a family have been making annual commitments for our faith promise giving, first fruits, and other offerings. We are happy to see how God provides the needs as our commitments increase each year. Every week we record our offerings and before the year ends we analyze if all our commitments and goals have been reached. For this year, we are amazed to see that God might allow us to exceed our goals. What a joy and privilege not only to serve the Lord but also to be able to give especially for missions. To God be the glory!

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
