Ayon sa Ephesians 5:20, “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Kung gayon, tayo sa Kanyang kapangyarihan ay magkaisa sa pagtupad ng Kanyang Dakilang Tagubilin habang niluluwalhati Siyang may pasasalamat, at isinasabuhay ang katuruan ng Colossians 2:7, “Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”

THE BLESSINGS OF DISCIPLESHIP
T
JOHN 15:16
"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
I
Ang pananatili sa simbahan at paglago sa pananampalataya ng ating mga naakay sa Panginoon ang makapagpapaliwanag at makapaglalarawan ng ating katapatan at maayos na paglakad sa Panginoon, tulad ng nakasaad sa Matthew 7:16, “Ye shall know them by their fruits”, at Matthew 12:33, “Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.” Ayon nga sa, Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

MAKING YOUR MARK AS A DISCIPLER “And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.” – Luke 6:3940 Discipleship is a journey. It is not about a program but about a relationship with God and with His people. Discipleship is not about studying methods and materials but about knowing and living out God’s Word. Discipleship is not about specific meeting times and places but about seeing lives transformed by the grace of God. Discipleship is not merely a ritualistic program; it is a renewing process.
D
ISCIPLESHIP IS BECOMING LIKE JESUS. “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”Acts 4:13. As disciples of Jesus, we are to learn, and when we are fully trained, we will be like Him. That is the true primal goal of discipleship. It is not to generate Bible scholars or evangelists, or counselors or even leaders. The result of discipleship is to be like Jesus. That is a powerful thing. Let us consider the impact the early disciples had. It was not their theological Bible knowledge or their oratory skills that made them stand out. The apostle Paul, who devoted his life to equipping believers to be followers of Jesus, embraced this principle. No matter where people are engaged in the process of discipleship, no matter what tools or techniques they use to pass on spiritual truths from the very Word of God, the goal is to produce, train or mold men and women who become more and more like Jesus, who then are able to pass on this same character to others and help them do the same as 2 Cor. 3:18 assures, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Disciples begin the journey at different places and travel at different paces reaching toward the same destination or goal—to become more like Jesus…to be Christlike.
D
ISCIPLESHIP IS BUILDING LIKE JESUS DID. “From whom the whole body fitly joined
together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”- Ephesians 4:16. All true followers of the Lord Jesus Christ need to find their respective places and continue on the journey. Every church-- and consequently members as well-must develop and follow a discipleship plan that helps believers have a great beginning and continue on a lifelong journey of love, trust and obedience to God that transforms their lives so that they think and act like Christ at home, at church, in the community and in the world. It has been said that “Church growth comes from within. The biblical principle of equipping the people of God is the hope of the church. It is the church’s hope for being built up within by the dynamic of the Christ-life. It is the church’s hope for fulfillment of the mission of Jesus in our world.” The typical church evaluates its ministry thru attendance, membership, financial stability, ratio of pastoral staff to members and size of buildings. Those measures are interesting but ultimately the church’s primary reason for existence is life transformation.
D
ISCIPLESHIP IS BEARING LIKE JESUS DID. Jesus gave purpose to His church when He told his followers to make disciples wherever they went as attested in Matthew 28:18-20. We admit that we sometimes fail to live in the manner modelled and prescribed by Jesus. As such, we ought to persevere by His power. We thank Him for having been given the responsibility of not only proclaiming the Gospel but also for providing nurture for those choosing to identify themselves as a part of it…to equip them in the ministries and missions. The Christian life modeled and accompanied by loving support and accountability will create an environment where a nurturing spirit easily outpours. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ intended that we, disciples, become disciple-makers. As followers of Christ, we must strive, by God’s grace and guidance to grow in His Word and use our spirituality to be involved in ministry endeavors inside as well as outside the church, so that non-believers would become a part of God’s Church family and would then become disciple-makers as well.

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
