"I MUST BE THANKFUL THAT GOD BLESSES AND REWARDS THOSE WHO INVOLVE."
PROFIT IN INVOLVEMENT
While we are counting down the days before this year ends, we must never fail to count the blessings God has provided us. Doing so is surely encouraging. Even with our shortcomings, God’s goodness has been really evident. That means that if we would serve Him more, then more blessings can be available for us. May we build that desire of serving God and reaping great dividends that only God can give. As many start buying and giving gifts, let us remind ourselves of our gift for the Saviour. Knowing that He has done and given so much for us, we should have a desire to sacrifice for Him and His work. We have already learned much principles and challenges through God’s Word that should inspire us to love Him more and involve in God’s work. Let me encourage you to be faithful in church, prepare for our Firstfruit Sunday and commit to serve Him in 2013! Have a blessed Sunday!

Gospel tracts, preaching/music CDs & Sunday School/Discipleship lessons are available @ the ushers' table after the service.

What Is Christmas
Is it simply a yearly excuse to engage in extended spending outbreak? Is it nothing more than an annual exercise in overindulgence? Is it a holiday season that is merely a chance to cut loose and party? While Christians are quick to answer these questions with a resounding "no," we too often miss the real "reason for the season." Christmas is more than just a day set aside to mark the birth of an ancient religious leader. It does commemorate Christ's birth, and it also has much greater, more practical significance. In Christmas we find a unique opportunity to celebrate a two-thousand-year-old birth with the birthday boy Himself. The message of Christmas is that Jesus is alive to celebrate with us. He is the star attraction and central focus around which all the festivities should revolve. Even now Jesus is patiently waiting to gain entry to our hearts, homes, churches, and cities, so that he may celebrate this joyous occasion with us. In the flurry of activity that we call Christmas, our attention is easily distracted from the one we seek to honor. Yet the heavenly Guest continues to call to us. He patiently raps on the door of our hearts, ready to come in and fellowship with us. What will our response be? Will we hear Him? Will we welcome Him in? "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" Revelation 3:20.
