from your Pastor
“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift” (2 Corinthians 9:15). This Christmas season, worshipful praising, exalting and thanking God should triumphantly be our spirits’ prevailing attitude, and hearts’ pervading acts, which must be joyfully delighted by His gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 3:23). While thanking God, we are also humbled to realize that He has made us worthy to be recipients of such precious and priceless gift. With that, we are called to express with devotion these words in Psalm 116:12: “What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?” May we answer with determination that we will share the gift of God with others so that they will also experience and enjoy His gift of salvation packed with His grace, goodness, and generosity. Because of God’s gift, we are being filled and satisfied with His blessings, especially those heavenly and spiritual in nature. We are DR. ED M. LAURENA likewise taught through the Scriptures that we can abound in His will while giving our gifts like our resources, time, and talents to and for His work. For sure, all gifts that we have contributed through His church for the evangelism of sinners, edification of the saints, and exaltation of the Saviour bring glory to Him. Thus, let us continually participate in the discipleship efforts of our church as we stir up the gift that God Himself has entrusted to us, believing that “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights” (James 1:17). Let us all have a spirit-filled Christmas with spirited celebration-fellowships along grateful testimonies of God’s mercy, might, and majesty!!!

THE BLESSINGS OF DISCIPLESHIP
T
RULY, GOD HAS been so good to me because He saved me and changed my life. I thank God for He has enabled me, counted me faithful and put me into the ministry. When I was a child, I grew up in a Sunday school class in Soulharvest Bible Baptist Church - Bulan, Sorsogon. Through Sunday school ministry, I learned Bible truths, especially about my condition in the sight of God. I was saved in August, 1995 at Bulan Sorsogon; but because of persecution from my unsaved loved ones, my baptism was delayed. I was baptized on April 28, 2004 in Christian Bible Baptist Church - Dagupan City under the leadership of Ptr. Jose Y. Handig, Jr. I saw how the Lord worked and led me to His perfect will. After I finished my college education in 2004 in Sorsogon State College, I was invited to visit my sister, the wife of Ptr. Handig in Dagupan City, Pangasinan before my commisionship in the Philippine Army. I stayed in CBBC-Dagupan while waiting for my schedule for military training. Eventually, God worked in my heart through the preaching of the Word of God and I was burdened to serve Him and to surrender fully to God’s work. Because of the conflict in my profession, I returned to my unit assigned and tendered my resignation in order to study in the Bible school. On April 20, 2005 at 10:45am, I surrendered my life fulltime in the ministry. While I was in CBBC Dagupan City, I was trained by my Pastor who taught and exposed me to the reality of God’s work. I entered in the Bible Institute of CBBC Dagupan for three years. As part of my training, I was brought by my Pastor into the mission field as a worker. After three years, it was in January, 2008 when I was fully given the authority to handle Christian Bible Baptist Mission-Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. Because of the demand and growth of the mission, my Pastor decided to send me to the Baptist Heritage Bible College in San Pedro, Laguna for formal training, in order for me to be more effective in God’s work. I experienced a lot of challenges in the mission field while studying in BHBC. Weekly, I encountered difficulties and hazardous travel from Urdaneta to San Pedro, Laguna just to fulfill my commitment to the Lord to finish my Bible College education and training. By God’s grace, I graduated from BHBC on April 16, 2014. I thank God for Dr. Ed M. Laurena for influencing me in serving God. I also thank my Bible College teachers for mentoring to me in God’s work. God is so wonderful to me. Now, He uses me in His great work of building lives through the ministry here in CBBM-Urdaneta, Pangasinan. The work is growing and expanding for His own glory and honor. By God’s grace, I have committed my life to serve Him until the last breath of my life. To God be the glory!

WORKING SINGLES UNITED FOR A BLISSFUL CHRISTMAS FELLOWSHIP
A
NCHORED ON THE scriptural passage from the Book of Colossians 1:29 "Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily," the Working Single Men and Ladies Sunday School classes headed by Preacher Rey Dalde, Ma'am Beata Agustin and Ma'am Liza Alivia united last Sunday, December 14, after the evening service, in a special dinner to remember. Prompted by the entertainingly dynamic and blessedly engaging emcee tandem of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dimas,
the jovial group of 95 working single men and ladies blissfully enjoyed the icebreaker games, singing, testimonies, encouragements, camaraderie, and feasting. Truly, it was a December dinner to remember. Please be one with us in prayer as the Church continues to uphold programs that will strengthen and unite this vibrant brethren in Christ to strive together in a Biblically sound lifestyle which then will consequently result in the building of their very own godly homes and relationships for the glory of the Lord.
CBBA Trade Fair at Christmas Fellowship 2014: Matagumpay na Ginanap
N
Aniya, “The Gift is precious; it must be delivered, and the emphasis must be on the Gift, not the deliverer".
Children Are for Godly Heritage and Honor
T
HERE WAS NEVER any time in history that the battle for our children ever wages ragingly than the present time because there was never any time that confusion and compulsion for evil is at its peak. When we do spiritual battle for our children, we are doing spiritual battle against the Devil. Satan opposes the will and work of God. He hates that we do things for the Lord and so he lures our children to wickedness. We must accept the fact that a child does not have wisdom yet as attested by Proverbs 29:15, “The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.” Thus, we as parents, mentors, authorities, and leaders must be careful in rearing and defining the paths through which these youths must willingly choose to tread.
father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise)” always applies to us. We will always be in a position that is able to give our Heavenly Father and our earthly parents either glory or blasphemy. What a tragedy if after all that we have received as children, we do so easily cause them heartbreak. Exodus 21:15 shows God's abhorrence to dishonorable act against parents and intimated that physically striking or verbally abusing a parent is no different than murder. They are capital crimes worthy of death. We dishonor our parents through stubbornness, mocking, scorning, talking back to them angrily, thievery, and violence. These will eventually be punished by death, shame, disgrace, darkness of understanding, and destruction as seen in the succeeding Scriptural passages.
We Praise The Lord For Godly Families Beata B. Agustin
We praise the Lord for godly families enjoying His salvation Thru His grace that anchors His redemption Unto transformation of miraculous action In pursuing His righteousness’ function. We praise the Lord for godly families going toward His ways Thru His plan that prospers under His days Unto performance of heavenly pays In walking with His commands’ rays. We praise the Lord for godly families abiding in His truthfulness Thru His wisdom that expresses His holiness Unto perfection of eternal gloriousness In involving in His work’s fruitfulness.
Children are heritage of the Lord. Psalm 127:3 asserts, “Lo, Children are an heritage of the Lord...and reward...” Life begins at home and wisdom should begin there, too. The home is the primary and most vital factor in a child's development as he goes toward maturity and becomes a stable member of society. Church and school play secondary roles, if only because of the amount of time spent at home and all the personal interactions that take place there. They are a heritage and they must be nurtured and cherished into a loving and living relationship by the parents and the household of faith. It is the child's greater responsibility then to learn from his/ her parents, not just because they are his human life givers, but because the parents have been what the child has not—both young and old. If the child learns these lessons, the wisdom will be an enriching adornment, a sign of godly and goodly heritage, and a guide to a well-spent life and good success. Children are an honor to godly parents. We are a people that will never cease to be somebody's children so the words in Ephesians 6:2, “Honour thy
Why does God want us to honor our parents? The family is the basic building block of society, thus the stability of the community depends on the stability of the families that comprise it. A person's response to the government is trace back from the parent-child relationship. The lessons and principles learned from honoring, respecting, and obeying parents will result in a society stable enough to promote development of the whole person. A wise child-- a child who is a heritage and an honor -- gives his father and mother satisfaction by the way he lives. Solomon invites young people to consider how their actions affect their parents. This is affirmed in Proverbs 10:1, “...A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.” Parents usually think that it is their duty to make their children happy, but many Scriptural passages in Proverbs exhort and urge children to bring happiness to their parents through being a heritage and an honor. May the Lord always reign supreme in our children's hearts and minds for their very own well-being and ultimately for God's glory.
We praise the Lord for godly families acknowledging His handling Thru His mercy that expresses His dealing Unto charity of kind fueling In experiencing His protection’s sealing. We praise the Lord for godly families submitting to His leadership Thru His authority that upholds His headship Unto obedience of faithful discipleship In prospering in His relationship’s fellowship. We praise the Lord for godly families having His favor Thru His approval that gives His standard-flavor Unto faith of worshipful savor In praising His majesty’s fervor. We praise the Lord for godly families serving for His glory Thru His power that prevails over His territory Unto proclamation of Gospel story In thanking His sovereignty’s victory.

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
