ROM THE TIME a person accepts Christ as his personal Saviour, he engages himself in a spiritual battle whether he likes it or not. Sadly, many decided not to fight; therefore, they become defeated Christians and Satan gets control of their lives. Yes, they are still heavenbound, but their life here on earth is miserable. God never intended it to be that way. Thus, we must be determined to fight for our spiritual life. It is always a joy as a pastor to see fellow believers making a firm decision to fight and live for God. Individual Christians and families serving God and prioritizing God’s work are a great proof that it is God Who motivates them to do it. Truly, they are a great inspiration, as they still choose to involve in God’s work despite the struggles and discouragements they encounter, which they can use as an excuse. It has been proven and I firmly believe that these people will benefit from the blessings only God can give. May every member see those opportunities to serve the Lord through our church and its ministries. That is why I am excited for our upcoming Missions Conference. This will be a time we can show our love and support to our guest pastors and missionaries. Also, it is a time for us to be reminded of the importance of our responsibility of preaching the Gospel. Praise the Lord for another Sunday!

I. As Bible-believing contenders, we advocate (support) that salvation by grace through faith is the mighty work of God. A. Salvation of the souls of men is the mighty work of the grace of God alone. B. Salvation of the souls of men is the mighty work of the mercies of God alone.
For more information look for Ms. Jocelyn Tolentino at the Ushers' Table after the evening service.
II. As Bible-believing contenders, we agree that our service with sacrifices through the local Church is the mighty work of God. A. God’s mighty work in us is adequate for us to labour in His vineyard. B. God’s mighty work in us is ample (abundant) for us to lay our treasures in support for His vineyard. III. As Bible-believing contenders, we adhere to the truth that our success is the mighty work of God. A. The believer’s success is based on the promises of God. B. The believer’s success is based on the power of God.
I used to ask God to help me. Then … if I might help Him. I ended up asking Him to do His work through me. Never allow the thought, “I am of no use where I am,” You certainly can be of no use where you are not. -copied
Nothing communicates the importance of church to your children than all sitting together as a family. Our children are with their friends a lot at school and other times. In church, they should be with their parents for maximum effectiveness.
ATTENTION On December 4, we will start our one worship-service every Sunday at 8:30 am. The afternoon schedule is as follows: 4:00 pm - Worship Service 5:30 pm - Divided Session per Sunday School Class
Let us all pray and prepare for these changes as we expect for victorious Sundays ahead.

The Vast Spiritual Harvest The Neglected Harvest Field Matthew 9:36-37
Spiritual negligence is a sad result of lack of interest on spiritual things, and such sin, if not taken of properly, will surely tend to spiritual deterioration. These are the following reasons why the spiritual harvest is being neglected:
1. Many believers are not looking for mission fields. John 4:35 2. Many believers do not have a compassionate heart. Matthew 9:36 3. Few believers are laboring in the mission fields. 4. Few believers are praying for the needs of the mission fields. Matthew 9:38 5. Few believers are supporting mission works. Phil. 4:15
This was the outline of the preaching delivered by Dr. Ed M. Laurena during the Prayer Meeting Night last November 9, 2011, challenging us for our upcoming Missions Conference.
If there be any one point in which the Christian church ought to keep its fervor at a white heat, it is concerning missions. If there be anything about which we cannot tolerate lukewarmness, it is in the matter of sending the gospel to a dying world.

NE of the great privileges of serving God is that we are laborers together with Him. Sure, He has given us the command to preach the Gospel, but He didn’t leave the work entirely up to us. While we find the ears to hear, He is working on hearts. When Paul went to Philippi, the first convert the Scriptures record was a woman, Lydia. Acts 16:14 says of her, “And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.” Paul may have been saying the words, but it was God who opened her heart. When we understand the Lord is working with us to see people saved, it changes how we witness to people. We are not high-pressure salesmen trying to manipulate a quick decision. We are instruments for the Holy Spirit to use as He changes hearts.
God is working in ways we cannot see.
Circumstances change in people’s lives. Going soulwinning in the same neighborhoods several times a year isn’t useless because the people are different every time we meet them. The same neighbor who has never even accepted an invitation might have just found out his child has a serious medical condition. Where his heart was closed before, God opened it through a trial.
We can’t prejudge who is a good candidate for the Gospel.

When we understand the Lord is working with us to see people saved, it changes how we witness to people. We are not high-pressure salesmen trying to manipulate a quick decision. We are instruments for the Holy Spirit to use as He changes hearts.
We have a tendency to make rushed decisions about people, even when it comes to their responsiveness to the Gospel. If they are too rough around the edges with piercings and tattoos, then their hearts are hardened. If they are too well dressed, then they won’t see their need for God. We can always find a reason why someone won’t get saved if we are looking for it. Remember, we don’t know what God is doing in their hearts. When Jesus met a rich young ruler, he asked the rich man to sell all he had as a test of that man’s heart. When the rich man walked away, Jesus made the famous statement, “For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:25). This didn’t sound good for rich people, yet in the very next chapter of Luke, the chief tax collector (a very lucrative position) willingly put his faith in Jesus. Then he gave half his money to the poor and much of the rest as restitution for his corrupt collections!
We don’t know the condition of their hearts until we speak to them about the Lord.
It’s only as we share the Gospel, one-on-one, that we can begin to see if God is working. Most people are not going to ask, “What must I do to be saved?” They are waiting in line to get a drink (John 4), working a job (Mark 1), or traveling back home (Acts 8) secretly hoping that someone has the answers to the questions they don’t even know to ask. The first command of the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18 is “Go.” Unless we go, we won’t have the opportunity to see God work in their hearts. Working together with God, we can be the vessels to see His Spirit change lives for eternity. thebaptistvoice.com

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (1 Corinthians 1:10)
True ministry is always a team effort.
Paul was emphasizing that no one person should do everything. Paul’s gift was preaching, and that’s what he did. Christian ministry should be a team effort; no preacher or teacher is a complete link between God and people, and no individual can do all that the apostles did. We must be content with the contribution God has given us to make, and carry it out wholeheartedly.
True ministry centers on God’s message.
Some speakers use impressive words, but they are weak on content. Paul stressed solid content and practical help for his listeners. He wanted them to be impressed with his message, not just his style (1 Corinthians 2:1-5). You don’t need to be a great speaker with a large vocabulary to share the gospel effectively. The persuasive power is in the story, not the storyteller. Paul was not against those who carefully prepare what they say (1 Corinthians 2:6), but against those who try to impress others with their own knowledge or speaking ability. “To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” (1 Corinthians 9:22)
"Ministry is giving when you feel like keeping, praying for others when you need to be prayed for, feeding others when your own soul is hungry, living truth before people even when you can’t see results, hurting with other people even when your own hurt can’t be spoken, keeping your word even when it is not convenient, it is being faithful when your flesh wants to run away."
True ministry considers the needs of others.
Paul gives several important principles for ministry: (1) find common ground with those you contact; (2) avoid a know-it-all attitude; (3) make others feel accepted; (4) be sensitive to their needs and concerns; and (5) look for opportunities to tell them about Christ. These principles are just as valid for us as they were for Paul. “Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.” (Galatians 2:1-2)
True ministry includes preparation and feedback.
After his conversion, Paul spent many years preparing for the ministry to which God had called him. This preparation period included time alone with God (Galatians 1:16-17), as well as time conferring with other Christians. Often new Christians, in their zeal, want to begin a full-time ministry without investing the necessary time studying the Bible and learning from qualified teachers. We need not wait to share Christ with our friends, but we may need more preparation before embarking on a special ministry. While we wait for God’s timing, we should continue to study, learn, and grow.
