The prosperity of a country depends, not only on the abundance of its revenues, nor on the strength of its fortifications, nor on the beauty of its public buildings, but it consists in the number of its men of enlightenment and character.

T is truly a blessing to know and serve God! Another month has already passed, and we thank God for letting us experience His faithfulness prevailing over our condition. We also praise Him that though we have not been faithful, He still provides us a new month and new opportunity to see His goodness and develop our service to Him! I am excited as we dwell on the theme “Victorious Christian Life through our Fruitfulness” for this month of October. Christianity is not just being saved and just enjoying the benefits of salvation. There is more to it. We should be bearing fruits. Every time God will work in a person’s life, He expects that there will be a result and it should be evident. We have never truly experienced a victorious Christian life unless we bear fruits. The fruit may be a change in attitude, another Christian, or a proof of spiritual growth in our lives. Fruitfulness should be every believer’s challenge and goal. God’s mighty works in us should not be in vain. May we be encouraged this month to be fruitful for His glory! Our church is doing its best to motivate us to be fruitful. Let us take advantage of it! We must allow God’s Word to make us closer to Him and desire more to grow and be useful. Salvation is more enjoyable if it will be fruitful. It has been a stormy weather the past few days. I pray that every member would be in a safe condition, and that it would not hinder our church attendance. Have a great Sunday! I love you in the Lord!

PSALM 92:13-14
The following statistics on church attendance is taken by the Statistical Abstract of the United States in May 1994. Americans who claim membership in a congregation: 69% Percent who attend worship services in a given week: 40% These figures even get lower & lower for the past 16 years. JUST THINK ABOUT IT! If this happened to America, a nation that was founded on God's Word, it is absolutely not impossible for that to happen here in the Philippines, specially among fundamental Baptist churches. Let us always be reminded of what the Bible says in Hebrews 10:25, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Brethren, we should not allow empty pews in our church services. We should fill them up by bringing visitors and by being consistent in our church attendance.

4. Ibahagi sa iba si Kristo Hesus.
