Estamos presentes en los negocios de la electricidad y el gas, desde su obtención hasta la distribución y la comercialización. Nuestro modelo de negocio se diferencia por ser líder en el sector del gas y ser un referente en el sector eléctrico, en ambos casos siendo garantía de suministro regular de gas y electricidad, esencial para prestar un servicio de calidad y para el cumplimiento de la función social de la compañía, al tiempo que proporcionamos una amplia oferta de servicios de valor añadido, impulsamos la innovación sostenible como motor de desarrollo y apostamos por las energías renovables para apoyar la transición energética. Nuestro Plan Estratégico 2021-2025 se enmarca en el fuerte compromiso en materia ESG que hemos venido materializando en los últimos años. El crecimiento en renovables supondrá una inversión, en los próximos años, de 8.700 millones de euros, un 60% de los 14.000 millones de euros previstos en el periodo. El foco de la estrategia de este crecimiento estará en países atractivos, con regulación estable y divisa fuerte, así como en proyectos en etapas tempranas de desarrollo y que contribuyan a la transición energética. Queremos triplicar nuestra capacidad renovable instalada para pasar de los actuales 4,6 GW a los 14 GW a nivel internacional en 2025.
We are present in the electricity and gas businesses, from production to distribution and marketing. Our business model stands out for being a leader in the gas sector and a benchmark in the power sector, in both cases guaranteeing a regular supply of gas and electricity. This is essential for providing a quality service and fulfilling the company’s social function, while at the same time providing a wide range of value-added services, promoting sustainable innovation as an engine for development and we are committed to renewable energies to support the energy transition. Our 2021-2025 Strategic Plan is part of the solid commitment to ESG we have been implementing in recent years. Growth in renewables will involve an investment of €8.7 billion, 60% of the €14 billion planned for the period. The focus of this growth strategy will be on attractive countries with stable regulations and strong currencies, as well as on projects in early development stages that contribute to the transition. We aim to triple our installed renewable capacity from the current 4.6 GW to 14 GW internationally by 2025. 96
