1. Analysing Municipal Budgets in context to Infrastructure Financing (Ongoing): With increasing population in cities, urban local bodies in India are facing challenges related to municipal infrastructure such as Insufficient revenue, low expenditure pattern and inadequate finance sources, etc. Aim of this Research Project is to analyse municipal budgets & capacity to infrastructure financing, identify reasons for inadequate revenue & expenditure pattern and to create a roadmap to strengthen the financial capacities of municipalities. 2. Water in Municipal Schools: Developing various initiative focusing on water & hand hygiene related issues in schools. Looking water as fundamental human need & particularly essential for the healthy development and growth of children. Faecal Sludge Management for Western Periphery of Ahmedabad: Providing decentralised faecal sludge management to the Shela village, as a solution to poor sanitation in the village. Project proposed a Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant as a part of Faecal Sludge management hence becomes imperative for such a context, especially where resources are constricted for sewerage-based approach to sanitation. District Centre: The aim of this thesis is to design a centre for ‘Socio-Culture’ bringing people together, through performing arts, visual arts, gathering spaces, office spaces and commerce. Prototype Metro Station: The idea of this project is to have a state of art metro station with commercial complex, creating efficient ecologically responsible, highly function & user-friendly spaces, that can serve as a link between commuters & neighbourhood.
