TRANSPORT DEMAND IN MOST INDIAN CITIES HAS INCREASED SUBSTANTIALLY, DUE TO INCREASE IN POPULATION AS RESULT OF BOTH NATURAL GROWTH AND MIGRATION FROM RURAL TOWNS. INDIAN CITIES ARE UNDERGOING URBAN SKYLINE TRANSFORMATION WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF METRO TRANSPORTATION NODE. PROVIDING OF ADOPTABLE AND FLEXIBLE SPACES IN THE METRO STATION THAT WILL SERVES AS A LINK BETWEEN THE COMMUTERS AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD.

STATION IS DESIGNED FOR THE 20k FOOTFALL DAILY. METRO STATION IS PLACED SUCH THAT IT IS DIRECLTLY APPROCHABLE FROM THE GROUND LEVEL. A BRIDGE THAT CONNECTS STATION TO THE MAIN ACCESS ROAD. BRIDGE ALSO DIVIDES THE SHOPPING COMPLEX AND OTHER AMENITIES ON THE BASEMENT LEVEL.

SITE IS LOCATION IN LESS DEVELOPED AREA IN BAGADPUR NEAR MORADABAD, UP. SITE IS SITUATED ALONG NH 24. THE AREA CONSIST OF UNIVERSITIES AND LOW DENSITY RESIDENCES. MOST OF THE COMMUTERS ARE STUDENT AND LABOUR CLASS PEOPLE. SITE IS SUBJECTED TO HIGH DEMAND FOR PROPER URBAN FACILITIES FOR STUDENTS.

THESE HOUSING PROJECT IS LOCATED ON THE HYPOTHETICAL SITE WITH ASSUMPTIONS THAT THE PARCEL OF THE LAND IS IDENTIFIED BY THE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY IN NEW MORADABAD TO PROVIDED PLOTTED HOUSING FOR HIGH INCOME GROUP PEOPLE.

PROJECT’S INTENT IS TO UNDERSTAND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OUTDOOR AND INDOOR SPACES AND HOW SURROUNDINGS PLAYS IMPORTANT ROLE IN BUILDING DESIGN. UNDERSTANDING THE RELATIONSHIP OF HUMAN SCALE, ACTIVITY, SPACE AND FORM IN MONOFUNCTIONAL BUILDINGS.

CONCEPT IS TAKEN FROM THE NATURAL ELEMENT WHICH IS “TRIFOLIATED LEAF‘ WHICH HAS THREE PARTS. BUILDING ON HILLY SITE INCREASES THE VIEWING ENVELOPS GREATLY AND USUALLY RESULTS IN FORM ORIENTED DESIGN WHICH ARE IN HORMANY WITH ENVIRONMENT AND NATURE.

BANQUET HALL IS DESIGNED FOR THE COMPACT REGION NEAR ETAWAH CITY. THE CLIENTS HAVE VERY FEW REQUIREMENT AS THE SITE IS SITUATED IN BUSY AREA. FRONT SIDE OF THE SITE IS DEVELOPED FOR PARKING AND THE BACK SIDE IS FOR THE OPEN GROUND FOR MULTIFUNCTIONAL USE. SITE IS CONNECTED WITH TWO ROADS FROM FRONT AND BACK. BOTH SIDES HAVE STREETS CONNECTING BOTH ROADS.

THE BUILDING CONSISTS A MULTIPURPOSE HALL, STORE AND KITCHEN ON THE THE GROUND FLOOR. HALL IS OF TWO FLOOR HEIGHT. UPPER FLOOR HAVE 6 ROOMS WITH ATTACHED TOILET, STORE AND A SMALL HALL. PUBLIC TOILETS ARE PROVIDED ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE BUILDING HAVING ACCESS FROM THE GROUND. ELEVATION IS CREATED CONSIDERING THE URBAN ATMOSPHERE SURROUNDING THE SITE. BACK SIDE GROUND IS ACCESSABLE FROM INSIDE THE BUILDING THROUGH BANQUET HALL.
