Recognising Excellent Customer Service

More than 200 of our staff have been nominated for Excellence in Customer Service. Our staff are delivering service excellence, and we reward their success
Just like our clients, we challenge all of our staff to do their best and reach for the sky. Our Excellence in Service Awards recognise staff that push the boundaries to deliver exceptional service and support at the front line in our Lifestyle Centres, Australian Disability Enterprises, through Afford Employment and in head office. Every staff member has the opportunity to be rewarded for their efforts.

This year alone, we have received almost 1,000 nominations for staff who have provided exceptional customer service, some staff receiving many nominations. These monthly awards saw 60 staff rewarded with more than $22,300 worth of prizes - 54 staff were rewarded with $8,300 in cash prizes, and six staff won $14,000 in Grand Prizes which include trips to Hawaii and the Gold Coast.
Further, across all Afford businesses, our staff are assessed on customer service to clients through our Operational Performance Reviews. We are overwhelmed to report that our staff achieved an average score of 83% in the most recent quarter which encompasses qualities such as Person-Centredness, Attitude, Customer Service, Efficiency and Standards.
Our Disability Employment Services in Bankstown and Fairfield also achieved a 5-star rating this year for producing exceptional employment outcomes.
